I had a really bad experience with this office, and felt that their business practices weren't transparent or professional in how they handled a situation I encountered. While I respected and appreciated Dr. Nader's skills, I can't recommend this office based on their operations practices. Beware!

My dentist said after seeing the xray of my new root canals: "The root canals look better that I thought it would!". In other words, my dentist did not expect Dr. V to do so well. Dr. V redid root canals for my molar tooth, the candidate for extraction. There was perforation and a piece of needle that was forgotten there (seen on the xray). Infection spread and could also be seen on the xray. I was in pain. During the consultation, Dr. V said he was ready to try to save the tooth, but he cannot promise success. The consultation was honest and clear. I consulted another root canal specialist, and he practically confirmed what Dr. V said. So two weeks on antibiotics later, I arrived at the office. It took 3.5 hours, but the doctor succeeded, and at the end he said the tooth now looks very good. Half way though he informed me that the crown broke due to decay (there was a lot), and he needs to do a build up, which is 400 dollars more, and was not part of the original plan. I asked if he managed to take the needle out. He said there are two pieces of it, and he can't take the second one out, as it is so deep he does not even see it. I agreed to do the build up, and I only asked him to try to take the needle. He tried and tried again, but nothing. I told him it is ok, and I just totally relaxed, as there was nothing to do. I thought he moved on to the concluding part of the treatment, the actual filling of the canals. However, he actually continued trying and finally managed to take the needle out. Both Doctor V and Omar, his assistant, were very happy. I am glad I relaxed and relied on their professionalism. Probably my root canal relaxed, who knows))) My advice would be to not be nervous, and try to relax, as the doctor will try to do his best, and that's it. I would like to thank them for their hard work on this case. Dr. V saw about 3 other patients while I was lying there as some medicine needed time to work, so Omar, his assistant, was there to answer all my questions and provided me information in a warm way. I also would like to thank Jargae and Fredda, who deal with financials and administration. Fredda got probably 5 calls from me before the procedure, and she was always extremely polite and also honest. My only complain really would be the wait time, as it is about 2 weeks for the consultation, and about 2 weeks for the procedure. Overall, the persistency, talent and desire to try their best to succeed, which I saw from Doctor V and Omar, are very inspiring.

I am so grateful I was referred by Dr. Huffman to Dr. Vafaie who was able to see me despite the pandemic and give me EXCELLENT care. I had a chipped filling that was continuing to erode away while Shelter in Place was in effect. I had hoped to weather the discomfort until Covid-19 blew over, but one night I experienced excruciating pain in that tooth that caused me to seek out dental care. Dr. Huffman referred me to Dr. Vafaie after viewing pictures of my tooth. Dr. Vafaie contacted me and was very communicative and calming about how to proceed going forward. He and his staff were able to see me soon after contacting him. They took great care to create a safe environment for both patient and provider. I am a health care provider, myself, at UCSF, and I was extremely impressed with the lengths Dr. Vafaie's office took prevent infection and to keep everyone safe. Dr. Vafaie performed a root canal on the tooth in question. He did an excellent job with the procedure and made me feel comfortable with every step. He and his staff communicated with me extremely well throughout that morning, and I felt nothing while being worked on. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Vafaie for the excellent and timely care despite the risk of seeing someone during this current pandemic. THANK YOU Dr. Vafaie; thank your staff. I am forever grateful!

Dr. Vafaie Nader did some major and minor dental work on me just over 10 years ago and his beautiful work has stood the test of time and for that I would give him 6 stars if I could. I have experienced a "no star" dentist before so when the time came to repair what went wrong and to fix the only mouth I will ever have, thank God, budah the Universe or whatever or whoever sent me to the brilliant Dr. Nader. I am forever grateful. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough and they all work so well with Dr. Nader as well as with us "nervous nelly's " I mean patients. They communicate respectfully between eachother which makes it a "no stress" office for all of us. A little humor was comforting too, even if it meant laughing at my dumb jokes with a half novacaine numbed mouth! Doctor or should I say Dentist Nader was highly recconended to me and because of his work and my positive experience with him and his office, I have reccomend Dr.Nader to everyone I know when ever I hear someone asking about a good dentist or endodentist. Now that my grown son is needing attention on an important tooth, I know from experience that the most gentle, skilled and trustworthy hands are those of Dr.Nader!
