Dr. Monoseta Covington-Burwell graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education to complete a 1-year General Practice Residency and a 3-year Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. When she did, she became the first female Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeon in Pennsylvania. Upon returning to Michigan, she decided to have a General Practice which allowed her to do every area of Dentistry. Dr. Burwell is a wife to Retired Senior Pastor Bruce Burwell, and mother to Chera Burwell who has her masters in Finance. About 20 years ago while practicing in her Dental Practice full time, she was called into the ministry and became a Pastor. She helped her husband start their own church, Light of the World Christian Center in W. Bloomfield Michigan. Due to his health, they retired from the ministry. Now as she looks back, she thanks God for the strength to be a wife, mother and do both Dentistry and Ministry with excellence. Dr. Burwell never missed a beat. As a matter of fact, she loves being busy. Last July 2021, she published her second book, End Times In-A-Snap with the publishing arm of TBN, Trilogy. Most of which was completed while the Dental offices were in the COVID shut down.
Angelic T Gaitor commonly known as Toni, has been with Dr. Burwell for over 20 years. She started as a Dental Assistant that floated to the front. She is now the office manager. She has a bachelors degree and is working on her Masters. She also is a CDA and an RDA and teaches Dental Assisting on her days off.

The service we get at Dr. Burrell's office is outstanding! Dr. Burrell and her staff are competent, friendly, patient, and accommodating. The facility is easily assessable and you feel safe from COVID. My 92 year-old mother felt comfortable and at ease with the extensive work she had done on tooth extraction, fillings and her partials reconstruction. My dental work was also thorough and my smile is so much nicer. Dr. Burrell fixed my front uppers teeth that were crumbling from the tips with decay. You will have a pleasant experience if you choose Dr. Monoseta Burrell for your dental work! She and her staff are top stars all the way! Terrye

Dr. Burwell has gentle, healing hands! I was like Pretty Waffle, but she made my teeth 16 years ago and I still wear them!!! Yes, I had other ones made by a different dentist but they don't fit my gums without denture cream, but my 16 year old dentures fit...hmmm My family and I are so upset because our insurance changed and none of us go to the dentist like we should...if you've been to the best, you just can't go to a dentist that isn't as good as her or better. Unfortunately we still can't find a dentist that does the miracle work she does! If you truly want healing and gentle hands to do work in your mouth, she is the one. Her staff is professional and very friendly. Toni, the office manager is the sweetest young lady and they are all so kind and caring. Dr Burwell we miss and love you guys

I was a patient for several years. Me and my ex-wife my ex-wife left years ago she says the doctor jack up her teeth and Advise me to leave as well but I stayed and took the rest of the ridiculousness of this doctor. Now I have a tooth tht needs to be fixed. They schedule me appointment only to tell me that they can't do anything. Why are you scheduling appointments when you only can do certain things? So I have a tooth that's coming in and out of my mouth when I eat trying to eat on my side of my mouth so I don't eat or swallow the tooth. I told her I was upset for making a trip to the office when they knew that they were limited with their abilities dueTo Covid that's what they keep saying. To Covid that's what they keep sayin. It might've been a good idea if you had a waited to open up until yall was ready. So they told me they'll call me back so I can get My tooth fixed.The office called me back I was on another business call so they left a voice message. When I started listening to the message I noticed that it was the actual Dr.burwell. Started off with a good message then end up telling me that she can no longer service me and she will send me all my doctors records and email and email me the records. What kind of doctor ends 15 year relationship with a patient because you don't have the equipment. Because you are not prepared. You guys schedule me an appointment I didn't call yall. I was on time and you guys were not ready very unprofessional Miss Dr.burwell. I hope all your patience read this horrible service I would advise everyone to avoid this office. I didn't wanna believe but you are Very Unprofessional lady a voicemail to tell your patient I can no longer serves you.ridiculous... And this is the last Incident that I wanna except. It has been several many more. But I see I guess she's understanding how horrible of a dentist she is so she Decide to end the relationship with me and her and fire the patient who does that. This is sad try to support your whole race and look what they do....

Dr.Burwell is the first and only dentist that I have ever gone to that did not cause me any pain! She removed all my teeth for dentures and told me I would feel pain the next day and I called her because I thought something was wrong because my mouth did not hurt. I would recommend her because she truly does have the gentle touch of a mother! No pain and people always think my dentures are real teeth! Thank you Dr. Burwell for giving me such beautiful teeth and being pain free!!
