Dr. Openko was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She studied civil engineering before attending the University of Pittsburgh and earning her DMD degree in 2000. She graduated with an award in restorative dentistry and has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and BOTOX. Dr. Openko never stops learningshe takes continuing education courses all the time. She has been practicing dentistry in Brownsville since March of 2004, and opened a second office in Murray in 2015. She thoroughly enjoys taking care of the people in our area. Her goal as a dentist is to improve the quality of life for her patients and create close relationships with them.
Dr. Openko and her husband, George, were married in 1990. George is the senior project manager at W G Tomko. They have two children: Dominick (18) is a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, and Andrew (13) is attending the 8th grade. Dr. Openko loves spending time with her family and traveling.
