Somerset Prosthodontic Dental has been restoring the beauty and function of our patients teeth since 1995. As digital technology has been transforming dentistry in recent years and particularly the specialty of prosthodontics we have incorporated those advances.
An all-digital practice, Somerset Prosthodontic Dental uses that sophisticated technology to scan a patients face and jaw, guide our treatment plans, and create metal-free prosthetic solutions that restore function and look beautiful. Digital technology greatly enhances results, both aesthetically and physiologically, and what we achieve for our patients is the best possible outcome in restorative cosmetic dentistry.
In our collaborative practice, Dr. Michael Zamikhovsky works with carefully selected dental specialists in the Watchung, New Jersey, area to coordinate and execute your treatment plan. Dr. Zamikhovsky personally supervises the work of our two nearby labs, both of which use the most advanced digital systems available to make our dental prosthetics. His direct supervision ensures overall quality in design, fabrication, material safety and aesthetic outcome.
By collaborating with uniquely qualified experts in their individual dental specialties, as well as with state-of-the-art labs, Somerset Prosthodontic Dental is able to deliver what a general dentist doing various procedures only occasionally, and often dealing with foreign laboratories cannot.
In fact, we have helped countless patients who have had less-than-satisfactory results from other dentists, have been told implants or some other solution wont work for them, or simply continue to have ongoing issues with their teeth.
If you are looking for a solution to an unresolved dental problem, Dr. Zamikhovsky invites you to interview him and begin to understand what he can offer. Were confident you will happily discover that Somerset Prosthodontic Dental has the best possible solution for you.
A native of Russia, Michael Zamikhovsky at age 15 came to New Jersey from Moscow, Russia, with his parents. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of Rochester and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center School of Dental and Oral Surgery.
Following a general practice residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, N. J., Dr. Zamikhovsky decided to pursue a specialty in prosthodontics. His curiosity about fabricating dental prosthetics grew from an avocational interest in mechanics, car racing, and race car fabrication; it led to another three years of education and training at New York University College of Dentistry and his degree in prosthodontics.
After graduation from NYU, Dr. Zamikhovsky went into private practice in 1995 in North Plainfield, N. J., but soon outgrew that space. In 2003, he moved to his current location in Watchung, N. J., in an office custom-built for his prosthodontics practice.
