I had Dr Hyun as my dentist and I was very dissatisfied with her treatment. She said I need to extract 5 teeth because of infection, and then suggested Invisalign and teeth implant, which would total $30k!! And she also urged me to take my teeth out even before she can give me an estimate of the price of implant, which was absolutely irresponsible. She was also inconsistent between visits. She first said I need to take out two wisdoms teeth and then completely forgot about it during my second visit. She also does not answer my questions directly sometimes and instead try to talk a lot of medical terms which eventually go in circles. I went to another doctor for second opinion, and he said I need no more than a gum treatment. I am very disappointed because Dr Hyun seemed like such a patient and caring person at first. I can only describe this as wanting to get more money from me or that she's not good at what she does.

The rest of this office might be fine, but I am very disappointed in my treatment with Dr. Huynh - i came in with a gum infection, she seemed to know what she was doing and initially suggested an oral rinse and anti-biotics. Then she upped it to a deep cleaning which then she upped again to get rid of a vestige of a tooth that had I had had for over 7 years. 3 days after she lifted the tooth (lower left) I'm still on the antibiotics and for some reason i have complete numbness in my upper middle lip. 24 hours after this started, I called the office and 2 hours later they called me back to say that the doctor won't deign to speak to me personally and has referred me to some oral surgeon. I trusted this office fully - I don't think they know what they're doing and I would STRONGLY recommend that if you are forced to go do them, please always get a second opinion before you agree to any procedures they suggest

Dr. Gamboa and his staff are always professional and pleasant. His treatment plan for me was very clear and there was no pressure to do anything I did not want to do or in a time frame with which I was not comfortable. They were all especially thoughtful and careful during Covid.

As a nurse, I have high standards for my own healthcare and I will say this office treated me very well. I saw Dr. Hyun for some dental treatments while visiting San Francisco. She was very gentle and helped ease my fear of the dentist. The receptionist, Anna, helped gather the necessary financial information so that I could make an informed decision about my dental work. The cost was reasonable, and she was able to schedule me on short notice. While I was there, I met Dr. Gamboa who was very pleasant and kind. I can see why so many people like his office!

I Love Dr. Gamboa. He is super knowledgable and as an instructor at UOP Dental School he always has the latest up to date technique.

My hygienist, Natalia, was very thorough and helpful. My experience was great - Natalia has a very light hand and a warm, positive demeanor. Highly recommended!

Dr.Gamboa is a good dentist when you get him. I however was slotted with a different dentist one time for a dental cleaning. The new dentist talked with the hygienist about high student loans from dental school and then asked me for expensive procedures unnecessarily. I asked to see Dr. Gamboa and they refused to let me schedule a new cleaning. I didn't really trust the cleaning or the exam.
