The staff was very friendly, polite and patient. The doctor seemed nice; however, I'm disappointed that I was not allowed to stay in the room, as my child was a minor (5 years old). Especially since the procedure was complete with him being awake and aware of his teeth extraction, stitches and (since I wasn't in the room, I can only assume) two needle injections for the novocaine. I was told they'd give him general anesthesia, but apparently there wasn't any given to him to actually put him to sleep. There was a shot in his upper arm, and it only made him slightly loopy. I'm almost certain it was a drug to calm him down. I'm very disappointed he was awake and possibly traumatized from the experience. From the time I texted my husband @8:13am, his procedure was finished by 8:17am. I knew it'd be quick since they were baby teeth, but I thought the wait would be from the anesthesia and/or novocaine to take effect. I can see there was no wait on that, and he proceeded with him fully awake instead. He was screaming when I came back to the room that they took his teeth, and was quite frightened. It was very difficult to get him in the chair from the start, not sure how he will do for any other procedure in the future. I would definitely NOT recommend taking your child here. I was lied to about the anesthesia (even signed docs to give permission), to them never giving it to him. I'd like to now follow-up with the office since I was quoted over $1,000 (to my insurance) to have anesthesia administered and they never gave it to him.

I had an appointment for a tooth extraction. This was my first tooth ever to be extracted since I was a child. I'm now a senior. I was nervous and tense. This was a fractured tooth, and I was in pain, and it had to come out. Dr. Schwartz and his assistant Maricela took great care in making sure I was comfortable and told me in advance what was being done. Maricela talked to me to relax me which I so appreciated. Between Dr. Schwartz's mastery, the laughing gas and the novocaine, my tooth came out. I was so glad that was over. The staff that I spoke to in the office were very kind. I was given post operative instructions that were very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Schwartz and his team! He even called me that night to check up on me. I was very grateful!

I got my wisdom teeth removed last Thursday by another dentist Mrs. Forest. She was great. I came back a few days later to find out I was experiencing dry socket. I was seen by dr Schwartz. He without any warning and without explaining to me what he was about to do to me, starts digging in my mouth knowing that I've been in pain. I was moving and screaming and not once did he attempt to stop to make sure I was ok. DO NOT GO TO SEE HIM

Dr. Schwartz was recommended to me by a trusted dentist as the best oral surgeon in the Baltimore area; I then saw Dr. Schwartz for a second opinion for wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Schwartz recommended removal of my top wisdom teeth only - and explained why. A few weeks later, Dr. Schwartz performed the extraction under general anesthesia. Surgery and recovery went well, with no complications. Dr. Schwartz's professionalism and expertise were paramount through my consult and treatment. He even calls patients in the evening after the procedure to make sure they are doing okay. Excellent patient care experience. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz.

First, I'm going to say that by personal experience and reputation, Drs. Schwartz and Hyatt are fantastic, both clinically and bedside manner. Nurse Jackie, their right hand woman is the best I've seen - smart and kind. BUT, during my daughter's recent 3rd molar extraction, we did not have that same experience w Dr. Galbraith. He made a clinical error, tried to hide behind excuses and lies rather than come clean about it. It appears that it was a simple case of him not referring to his consult notes from 1 week prior, and confusing the treatment. After extracting 3 of her 3rd molars, he went on to the fourth, but was unable to locate it. He cut though her gum and searched up near her sinus. After being unable to locate it he sent her to recovery then took a CT scan to find the tooth had already erupted. So, essentially he looked in her mouth, for whatever reason didn't see the erupted tooth and cut a flap behind it to search for it. Had he reviewed her chart he would have known which of the 2 were impacted and which 2 were erupted. He then tried to make a joke of it and blame it on an 18 month old pano which showed it as impacted. He then gave me the choice to take her home w the 4th tooth still in her mouth or he could take it out now. He seemed rushed to get to his next case. Why else would he try to send her home? She still had her IV in and hadn't fully come out of sedation. So she went back in and had the 4th tooth removed. All is fine now. No harm, to foul. But clinically he's questionable and just as important, he lacks integrity. Terrible experience w him. Stick with Schwartz and Hyatt.

I just had 4 wisdom teeth removed and I had a great experience with Dr.Schwartz. The procedure was quick and easy and I had stopped bleeding only a few hours after surgery. I was in a little pain, but much less than I had expected. I did not swell or bruise and was able to eat solid foods sooner than I expected. All of the staff members at the office were very friendly. Dr.Schwartz called me the evening after my procedure to check in.

Dr Schwartz and his team have been fantastic with me and the many hurdles everyone had to jump over to take care of me. Dr Schwartz is extremely knowledgeable and able to take care of the most complicated of situations. He spends a great deal of time explaining the necessary procedures. I always feel I am in capable hands. I particularly like that he takes the time to call in the evening after your procedures to check on you and are there any problems.

I have been a patient directly (myself) and indirectly (my kids) for years and Dr. Schwartz is incredible!!! Highly recommend. While I have had long waits in the waiting room, I am always able to get a pretty quick appointment date. So bring a book or something to do while you wait (mainly for initial consultations) but he is worth waiting for.

I was referred to Dr. Schwartz my my dentist because of jaw pain after installing implants. After talking nonsense for few minutes such as I need to do brain scan dr. Schwartz arrived to conclusion that I have nerve pain. Further more he said that he will right letter to my internist as how to treat it. Needless to say that letter have never been written and dr.Schwartz indicated that he is not going to write letter. However, dr. Schwartz did not forgot to charge me $200 for doing nothing. I would never trusted dr.Schwartz for my care.

Dr. Schwartz and his support staff is AWESOME!! Had 3 wisdom teeth removed and within a couple of hours no bleeding, small amount of pain, face was not swollen, and he had EXCELLENT bedside manner. I had a traumatic experience in the past with dental work and Dr. Schwartz has just restored my faith in dental surgeons. If you're looking for excellent dental care, fantastic customer service, very clean/comfortable enviroment, and honest/knowledgeable Dental Surgeon, Dr. Schwartz is the dentist for you. Even the support staff is very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question. I was given my balance during consultation and my bill was not inflated in the end. Dr. Schwartz, Alla, Jackie, London, and all the other staff was AMAZING! I was most impressed by Dr. Schwartz PERSONALLY reaching out to me later this evening to see how my recovery was going. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz as a Dental Surgeon!! Thank you Dr. Schwartz and team!
