Dr. Michael Harrison is a longtime resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is married to Mary C. Harrison and has three children who were all raised in Hot Springs. Dr. Stephen Harrison has an endodontic specialty(root canals) in Hot Springs. Kevin is in the corporate world and daughter Kristen is in restaurant service.
Dr. Harrison has done higher education in a number of fields including TMJ treatment, crown and bridge, rehabilitation, implants, and other dental care. He is a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study.
He is currently in good standing with Garland County Dental Society, Arkansas Central District Dental Society, Arkansas State Dental Association and American Dental Association. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is recognized in the Pierre Fauchard Academy as a fellow in the International Honor Organization. He is past president of the Arkansas Central District. He served in the Charitable Christian Clinic treating patients in need.
It began when Patrick Harrison chose to go to dental school and graduated in 1946 from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. Originally from Blytheville, Dr.Pat set up practice in Brinkley. He was also an active member in the Air Force, serving our country during the Korean War. After the war, he returned to Brinkley where he and his wife raised three children and he continued his dental practice for 46 years. He is now retired and still living in the Brinkley area.
Dr. Mike Harrison graduated in 1977 from the University of Tennessee. His practice has been a part of the Hot Springs community for over 35 years. Dr. Mike has been married for over 35 years to Mary Harrison, who is a registered nurse with CHI St Vincent Hot Springs. They have three children Stephen, Kevin and Kristen, and four beautiful grandchildren.
Dr. Mikes son, Stephen grew up in Hot Springs and graduated valedictorian from Lakeside in 1997. He went to the University of Arkansas and graduated with high honors. He continued on to graduate from the University of Tennessee in 2005. He did a year residency specializing in implants before returning home and is currently furthering his profession by specializing in endodontics. His wife, Meritt Harrison, is a pharmacist. Dr. Mike Harrison offers complete dental care, addressing the full mouth for the entire family. His office is beautifully designed with patient comfort in mind. He and his staff make sure to treat every patient with the absolute best care and do everything within their means to make the patients experience comfortable, calm, and stress free.
He has extensive experience in all sections of dental treatment including reconstructive, cosmetic, implant and TMJ treatment, with TMJ being a passion that has led to additional training and education. Proper TMJ treatment can substantially improve a persons life on a daily basis.
Dr. Mike says It is an absolute privilege and a blessing to have been a part of this community for so long. We have lived and raised our children here and we could not think of any place we would rather be. We strive to be a contributing part of the community and want to help those in the community by offering quality care.

Broke a tooth at lunchtime on vacation. Dropped by Dr Harrison's office for emergency dentistry. He was able to get me in and out with a temporary filling within an hour. That will hold me until I can get to my regular dentist next week.

From the first call through the initial visit, I was treated as if I were their only patient. The office waiting area is clean, well lit, exquisitely decorated, and had a very welcome and calming atmosphere. The front desk person was very courteous and greeted me with a warm smile and a helpful attitude. My hygienist, Karli, was very delightful, friendly, personable, and extremely competent and professional. Dr. Harrison was very accommodating, friendly, easy to talk with, and thorough in his visit with me. I'm a new patient for this office, and I am very grateful God led me to them.

Outstanding experience! Dr. Harrison was exceedingly professional---he answered all of my (numerous) questions about my proposed dental procedures in a frank, candid and honest manner, and spent a not inconsiderable amount of time in doing so. His staff was friendly and courteous, and I was seen at or before the time of my appointment. I couldn't ask for anything more in a dentist, and I look forward to my upcoming dental treatment with Dr. Harrison.

I have been a patient with Dr. Michael Harrison for over 30 years...he is the best in the business here in Hot Springs and I wouldn't go with anyone else! He takes the time to explain everything and I appreciate that. His staff is great also! If I could give more than 5 I would!

By far the best dentist and assistants I have ever had the pleasure of having work done by. I've been to the dentist hundreds of times and have found a new home here. Straight to the point dentist who you can tell genuinely cares about YOU and what you expect of his work. The ladies there were friendly and ahead of the game on everything. Great location and clean office. Aspen dental was my primary for the longest time but are no where close to the reception or atmosphere that has been created at harrison. Small town dentist in a large city. Love it. Thank you for giving me my smile back.

I have had dental phobia all my life. I asked my hygienist to not used flavored products and she made up her own unflavored. She was kind, reassuring, and she did not make me feel like I was drowning with water or choking. For the 1st time in my 60's, I didn't cry, vomit, panic during my visit. Thank you Celeste.
