Dr. Michael Hesterberg, DMD, is an excellent Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. He has had many years of training, numerous years of experience and is very skilled. The extra bonus is his warm and friendly personality. He could retire, yet chooses not to because he sincerely wants to help people. He cares about each patient and takes a personal interest in helping you. He and his staff will put you at ease and take very good care of you. I had fallen and knocked out an upper front tooth. Starting the process of implanting a new permanent tooth, he did a bone graft using granular bone from an organ donor that led to the growth of new bone where mine had receded due to loss of the tooth. Several months later, into that new bone he inserted a titanium screw, to which the new tooth will be affixed. This meant two separate surgeries in his dental offices. I received no painful shots in my mouth using a needle. He avoided causing me any pain at all by using anesthesia administered through an IV which let me be awake in a gentle twilight sleepy state. I never felt any pain at all. There was no pain the following day either. All went well and I healed just fine with no problems or complications. Dr. Hesterberg even called me the day after each surgery to see how I was doing and if I was having any problems, or had any concerns or questions. I think he and his staff are likable, kind, very caring, professional, and excellent at the work they do.

When I was at my consultation for getting my wisdom teeth out, he said I wouldn't even notice the top ones had been removed. He couldn't have been more correct! I'm terrified of surgery in any form and I had an amazing experience here, you guys are masters at helping folks with anxiety feel comfortable, safe, and secure. I can't thank you enough!

Dr. Hesterberg was amazing during my wisdom teeth removal. I was impressed after my consultation and so grateful after the actual procedure. He answered all of my questions in detail to make sure that I fully understood. He even personally called the next day to make sure that everything was going well. I would highly recommend him!!

Amazing doctor, Amazing staff. Very detailed in description of what will occur and billing. Definitely recommend if these services are needed. Never had the doctor himself call for follow-up 24 hours after! Beyond impressed. Comfortable waiting area, wide open office. The staff truly cares for their patients.

Dr, Hesterberg is great! He's very kind, professional, and personable and is an excellent surgeon. He made my surgery a piece of cake! His dental assistant, Lisa, is great as well. Lisa made me feel calm and explained everything to me. The entire staff is great, very easy to work with. I was actually scheduled and waited over two months to see a different oral surgeon and when I finally went to my appointment I wound up leaving after 45 minutes without seeing the surgeon because his staff in front was horrible. What a pleasure to find a practice that had a great staff and an amazing surgeon!

Dr. Hesterberg and his entire team were so amazing to me throughout this entire process. I am nurse but was having major anxiety about twilight sedation since I never have been sedated before. Everyone was so comforting and kind to me. Dr. Hesterberg personally called me the next day to review my instructions and discuss any questions I had. I had my wisdom teeth removed by him yesterday and so far I am feeling great. I recommend them 1000 percent!

My daughter had a tooth pulled yesterday September 17th and the whole experience from start to finish was very comforting. This is the 2nd time she has seen doctor Hester erg, she had her wisdom teeth pulled over 20 years ago and she even remembers that, that's why she wanted him to do this job because she really liked him. He's been in business 38 years that says something right there, his staff is very efficient very courteous and just made you feel very comfortable. What really impressed me he personally called my daughter the next day to see how she was doing and that doesn't happen too often usually the staff does that and I thought that was very caring to take the time to check on his patient. I would definitely without a doubt recommend Dr Hesterberg to anybody.

My son had his first appointment with Dr. Hesterberg today.... From the very 1st phone call to the visit was AMAZING. Love the staff and Dr. Hesterberg! We felt like family. Thank YOU!!!!!

I have severe anxiety especially when it comes to even think about surgical procedures but the consult was amazing and he was such a warm welcoming guy addressed my anxiousness with such kindness and seemed to try to make me more comfortable I have not had surgery yet but he was just so amazing I felt like this was a good place to go

My 9 year old son needed his two front baby teeth removed. Dr. Hesterberg and his staff were so kind and welcoming. He was able to do the procedure in his office! We could not have had a better place taking care of us. I highly recommend this office.

The care of Doctor and nurse staff is good however the office is very difficult to work with for insurance. They will bill insurance however they have no understanding of how modern or current insurance works and have no trust in the matter to work with you. They force you to pay in cash or credit for full amount and want to refund it all later even knowing that your insurance is going to pay them and how much. They have created tons of headaches for me and multiple hours on the phone with insurance company and them. I now have a four way credit and refund between a care credit account , my medical insurance, my dental insurance, and my health equity medical savings all because they don't want to wait for insurance process and pay them. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

My son endured extreme pain and trauma during his wisdom teeth extractions at the hands of Dr. Hesterberg. During his drip i.v. procedure my son was almost entirely awake and suffered greatly for an hour. He attempted many times to tell them that he could feel intense pain, but they ignored him. In recovery my son was clearly traumatized and was intensely waiting for the assistant to leave, so that he could tell me through blood soaked gauze in his mouth, of the torture he endured. He told me he gave up trying to tell them of the pain and relied upon his taekwondo training to endure. His stomach muscles were strained and sore for a week after, as he was tensing them so strongly and for so long. When confronted with all of this information, Dr. Hesterberg shook his head continually and talked over me and my husband incessantly. He did admit to us that he saw our son's stomach shaking and chose to ignore that as well. The doctor also admitted that when our son was asleep with the medication he made sure he woke him up. We were guaranteed that our son would not feel pain during the procedure. Our own dentist referred us to Dr. Hesterberg so that our son would not have pain or trauma. It was a horrible experience for us all. I waited many months to write this review so that there would be no emotion in me when I wrote it. This experience was very hard to get through for all of us. Seeing your child be harmed to this degree is something every parent fears.

Service was great but very unhappy with the business practices and how very long it took to get an appointment! He requires you to pay upfront regardless if you are insured. It was WAY OVER the amount him and insurance have agreed on. His office appeals it twice and my insurance denied him. Talked with his office again today and they tell me I will not be getting my refund back of like 700 plus dollars. His office is trying to appeal it again! Enough! He has a contract with Delta insurance he or his office are NOT fulfilling. His office also told us that the consultation would only cost us 25.00 and insurance would cover the rest. They ended up tacking on the amount at the day of service (slipping it in without our knowledge) and never turning this amount into insrance. Unethical business practices! Dishearted patient's wife! I will continue to fight for justice till this is resolved!
