Dr. Michael Maser graduated with Honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He continued his education by completing a Residency Program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Dr. Maser has also earned the prestigious Mastership Award (MAGD), as well as the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Award (FAGD)
Over his 34 years of practice he has taken over 2000 hours of Continuing Education. Dr. Maser believes that through Cosmetic Dentistry anyone can achieve personal confidence, and attain the smile they always wanted.

The Fellowship (FAGD) and Mastership (MAGD) Awards are two of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today. They help your dentist stay up to date on the most current dental procedures in order to offer you the highest quality of care.
A general dentist who is a 'Fellow' in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education . To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years.
A general dentist who has earned the designation of 'Master' of the AGD (MAGD) has completed a structured and demanding set of requirements. To attain the MAGD, your dentist must first be a Fellow in the AGD. Your dentist must then earn an additional 600 approved continuing education hours (including 400 hours of hands-on courses), while meeting minimum requirements in certain dental disciplines.
Even if your dentist does not have an 'FAGD' or 'MAGD' after his or her name, it is possible that he or she has taken continuing education. At your next visit, ask your dentist how he or she is staying up to date on procedures to provide you and your family with a wide range of treatment options.

How can express the level of care and perfection? From the desk to the chair it has been a life changing experience. DR. Maser explained all my options and expectations. Then began to demonstrate his exceptional talents. My pain levels are less than i ever imagined. He has taken dentistry to a level of perfection i could never before even existed. I met Dr. Maser in January of 2020 when I moved here to Myrtle Beach. I was eating my breakfast when an inlay cap broke and came off. I did not have a dentist, so I started calling to find one. Covid had just begun, and no one would see me. Either their offices were closed only serving current customers or they would not take new ones. The receptionist at Dr. Maser's office spoke to Dr. Maser and not only would he see me he saw me that day after hours at 7:00pm! He fitted me for a temporary cap that night, fitted for a permanent and I have been going to him ever since. After every visit for dental work, I can count on a call to make sure I am feeling good, and everything feels well. He treats me like family. He is the best dentist I have ever used, and I would recommend him and his team for all your dental needs.

Excellent experience from the first phone call to set up my appointment through, being heated cheerfully at the front desk, x-rays using super cool new technology, my friendly and experienced hygienist, through meeting Dr. Matter himself, followed by his personally calling me later to be sure the experience went well and to ask if I had any questions! I'm super impressed!

If i could leave 10 stars i would! The staff is super friendly, helpful & compassionate. I've had quite a few dental issues & they've not only corrected my problems but gone out of their way to make sure that everything was as easy & painless as it could be in the process. I couldn't recommend a dentist office more than this one!

Having recently retired to Myrtle Beach from North Carolina and having seen the same dentist for 25 years, I had reservations about finding a new dentist. Dr. Maser was recommended to me by a neighbor. I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Maser and his staff. Their competency and professionalism have been amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Maser to anyone seeking dental care.

Dr. Maser is so patient and kind. He listened to everything I said and took it into consideration. He was very honest and diligent in his work. His office staff is amazing, everyone is so friendly. Just had extensive work done today by Dr. Maser, 4 wisdom teeth pulled and 3 others that needed to come out. Bone graphs put in, and all in one sitting. It's very rare to find a doctor and staff with such knowledge, they are calming, they are accommodating, and now I can confirm, do amazing work. If you are procrastinating on getting your mouth fixed, don't wait any longer like I did. Dr. Maser and his staff will make it easy and painless. Took me 10 years to get the courage to start this journey and now after today I'm regretting I waited for so long. Thanks Dr. Maser and your staff

This is a great experience in visiting a dentist... His office staff and all his hygienist in the back are ALL so friendly and explain the procedures very well. Dr Maser is like that too !!! I trust his decisions about my teeth too. AS I get older lots of issues have come up about my teeth and I started coming to Dr Maser two years ago and I am glad that I did because he does a great job and makes good decisions. My teeth haven't been cleaned like this anywhere else and I have moved a lot in my life from city to city.... They are finally clean with out having to use teeth cleaning devices at home just brushing them! Also the fact that I have dental insurance that DOES NOT pay for a lot of things and when they have not wanted to pay Dr Maser will keep contacting them to share information and pics of my teeth to explain it they will end up paying me back more and more for the process that I AM going through. Dental insurance is weird as all insurance is now . I am glad I found this Dentist office and I travel and hour to get there and its worth it ! EVERYONE there makes you feel comfortable with their sweet friendly voices and smiles!!!!!!

Dr. Maser is very caring, knowledgeable and thorough with his patients. I have never had a doctor call me to check to see how I was doing or if I had any questions or concerns following an office visit until Dr. Maser! The hygienist did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth, I felt nothing. The entire staff is so bubbly and positive. I had a very pleasant experience all around, I highly recommend Dr. Maser.

Exceptional dentist, knowledgeable and compassionate. I was ver anxious about my appointment, dr maser called prior to appointment, reassured me during appointment snd called after appointment to check on me. This office is very up to date technologically and with dental techniques. Had root canal and perio surgeries with dr Nader. My cleaning with shaunda weeks ago was also gentle and thorough. Very pleased that I selected this dental practice. Highly recommended this to any person that needs general as well as more intricate dental help as I did.

I've been a patient here since late 2020 and I cannot recommend them enough. Dr. Maser goes out of his way to ensure that his patients receive the absolute best care. He also really knows his stuff--but he's always willing to stop and explain or talk through things without making you feel dumb. His entire staff is kind and welcoming. Every single one of my experiences here has been positive and I appreciate the empathy and attention to detail that Dr. Maser and his staff put into their work. My teeth have never been better and I owe it all to them.

Excellent as always. Picking a dentist is like hiring A homebuilder in some ways. You can hire the builder that builds cookie-cutter homes and it's all about building as many houses a year as you can without paying attention to detail. Or you can hire a custom home builder that builds a house exactly the way you want it with all the details the way they should be done. Dr. Maser takes the time to make sure that everything he does looks better then your natural tooth. All the fine details matter. He's a true craftsman in the art of dentistry.
