my brother was a patient here and the front desk staff is exceptionally rude and unhelpful. he had a procedure at another dentist that delayed his appointment here and we had the other dentist's office call ahead to notify them but when we arrived we were denied the courtesy of scheduling another appointment, in fact the front desk straight up refuse to address my brother and just left him waiting there, emails always go unanswered, and request for imaging done at the clinic go ignored. so now we are forced to spend more money to repeat imaging at another dentist. Whoever is answering the phone also is so flippant and arrogant. i came at the recommendation of a friend who is a peds dentist but wow. this is unacceptable

Called the office with Very bad toothache Took me in the same day dr sosnay was so nice and so professional and most of all he made a great job no pain Felt comfortable I strongly recommend him

Dr. Sosnay and his staff are professional, caring and courteous. I needed an emergency root canal. Dr. Sosnay worked on me at the last minute and stayed late to make sure the job was done. I felt like I was in good hands and would fully recommend his services.

I've had a total of 5 root canals with Dr. Michael Sosnay. He is a magician with this stuff. I felt zero pain during and after the procedures. The thing I admire the most about him is his obsession with learning and refining his craft. Even at this stage in his career he's always trying to figure out the better way to do something - certainly a quality I appreciate!

A1; Top of the Heap! Dr. Sosnay and his crew are amazing! The term "root canal" is usually associated with life's worst experiences. That was true of my first two root canal's, performed by other Endodontists. But my last three have been with Dr. Sosnay and they have been great. I am not an easy patient. I had a near death drowning experience as a child and cannot tolerate anything that makes me feel like I could choke. Dr. Sosnay and his wonderful assistants Shawna and Gisele worked around my phobias and successfully performed the procedures without the use of a rubber dam or teeth block. Awesome! You won't find any better team in New York, New York or any place else!

Dr. Sosnay and his dental assistant were lovely, helpful, and did a great job with my teeth. I was nervous about a root canal and he made it as painless and easy as possible. I'm very happy I chose Dr. Sosnay and I refuse to get dental done anywhere else! Strongly recommend

Dr. Ivan Lukachynets is an excellent endodontist, extremely skilled, was the only one able to remove a piece of instrument that was broken and left inside the canal during a root canal procedure by another dentist. Dr. Lukachynets was the 3rd endodontist trying to extract the metal file, did it in a gentle, confident way. Impressive!

This review is for Dr. Luka: As someone who has been terrified of dental visits and has actively avoided dentists or orthodontists for the last 10 years, getting a root canal was my nightmare. I went in for a consultation based on a referral from my Dentist (Dr. Cindy Behrens at Manhattan Dental Studio who is also wonderful) to see if my tooth could be saved. Dr. Luka confirmed that he could do the root canal and that he could definitely restore part of the tooth. And SURPRISE he could do it right then and there. I was terrified and not mentally prepared but Dr. Luka was amazing. He was very gentle, talked me through every step of the procedure, played some music to help me feel more comfortable, and checked in on me consistently throughout the procedure (which was very quick and painless). Thank you so much, Dr. Luka and team! I so appreciate your patience, kindness and understanding for my completely irrational fear :)

Dr. Luka is an absolute pro. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is easy and painless for the patient. He also explains what he is doing along the way, and how long it will take so that you know exactly what to expect. Highly recommend!!

Dr Sosnay took me the same day that I had an awful toothache and relieved the pain with a root canal. He was serious, professional and highly skilled. His follow up was also excellent and I appreciated his answering all of my many questions about my problem and his operative procedure.. I would strongly recommend him. Less important, but very much appreciated, is that his staff seemed happy to be working with him and were very nice to me.

My daughter is 3 years old and she injured her front tooth few months ago. We've been taking her seeing multiple dentists through the city and CT and we were suggested by most of the dentists to have her tooth removed which would be the best and only option. We finally got chance to speak with few Encodonists and Dr. Sosnay was one of them and we were told that we can try to do root canal and save my daughter's tooth. Dr. Sosnay is absolutely high skilled and saved my daughter's tooth and fixed it so well. He is also warm and kind, very patient to explain to us about everything. We would highly recommend him to our friends.
