Dr. Young began his collegiate career at Louisiana State University at Eunice, where he studied basic science and nursing. He then moved on to Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge to pursue a biochemistry degree with the intent of applying to dental school. Dr. Young began his dental education at Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Dentistry in 1999 and graduated in 2003. He worked as an associate dentist and completed many hours of continuing education, including training indental implantsandcosmetic dentistry. After two years as an associate dentist, Dr. Young opened his own dental practice in 2005.
Dr. Young loves helping his patients and developing relationships with them. He is committed to treating every patient as a guest in his home. His goal is to provide the highest quality patient care with the latest technology, while still maintaining a small, hometown experience.
Dr. Young is the youngest of six and the only boy in his family. He is a proud, long-term resident of Acadiana, and he completed high school in Chataignier, LA in 1994. His work ethic and sense of business were sharpened by hours spent running the traps in family crawfish ponds. Dr. Young has four children: a boy and three girls. His hobbies include basketball and playing guitar. Dr. Young is a member of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), as well. His favorite movies are Goodfellas and Braveheart.
Dr. Young completed dental implant training at Misch Resnik Implant Institute in California, in 2016-17. He has also completed the Progressive Orthodonitic Seminars Program, a part of the McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry.

I have been going here for I while and I love it! Friendliest Dentist you will ever want to meet. He is always willing to take the time and find what works best for your needs, which sets them apart from most places. The staff is great and the new office is high end nice! I have bad dental anxiety and for the first time in my life I was actually able to feel calm and relaxed during my visits. I would and do recommend them to anybody!

I have been going to Dr. Young for the past year and have experienced quick and excellent customer service and excellent dental work. Really good atmosphere and they play good music to get you through the hard times, especially on Fridays! Glad I found Dr. Young, and his great staff, who get the job done like a well oiled machine. Highly recommend Dr. Young for your dental needs. Doc and staff are always super nice and professional not to mention his office is top notch. I was in and out for my appointment and very pleased with my visit. My hygienist Lindsey did a superb job and i look forward to my next 6 month checkup.

Very friendly staff that make you feel comfortable in an unpleasant situation. There is always a fear or an anxiety associated with dental work. But Dr Young and his team make you feel at home and their new facility is state of the art.. I definitely highly recommend them.

I was always scared of Dentist. Dr Young and his staff are exceptional on all accounts. The staff is friendly, funny and professional and I am very comfortable having them helping me get my teeth back in check. I would and I have recommended this business to others. Not only is this doctor extremely disconnected from his patients and does not explain what he is doing but they will take your money and lie about how much you owe. They took my money and still charged my insurance and then made up things so they didn't have to give me my money back like they promised. Save your money. Its not worth it to go here and leave traumatized.

I've been using Dr Young and his team for several years. He talks to me like we are old friends, and there is hardly any turnover, so the girls in the office are like family too. Great work, beautiful new office and never suggests doing work that isn't necessary. Best dentist I've ever used.
