New patients receive a thorough, comprehensive exam. This will include an oral cancer screening, tooth-by-tooth inspection, periodontal inspection, bite analysis, complete digital X-rays, and cleaning. Dr. Williams will gather all the technical information needed to make an accurate assessment of your oral health. He will discuss any concerns both you and he may have, as well as short and long term health goals.
Dental care is typically underwritten by some form of insurance coverage. Please note, if in doubt with coverage or claims, we encourage individuals to call our office manager so we can assist. Dr. Williams' office accepts most insurances and coverage for out-of-network is submitted for patients. In addition to the various plans we participate in, we also accept cash, check, and credit card (Discover, Visa, MasterCard). We also accept monthly payment plans through CareCredit. The largest provider of health-related financing, CareCredit offers no-interest and low-interest plans, as well as online applications with immediate responses. The staff will help guide your family through the various options for payment.
Michael J. Williams was educated at Trinity College, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He acquired his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, which is a prominent leader in dental education and research on the national and international level. Dr. Williams residency was at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He furthered his advanced education in dental medicine at the United States Air Force at Hanscomb Air Force Base in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Dr. Williams has been in his own Simsbury practice over 20 years and holds both a current Connecticut and Massachusetts dental license.
Dr. Williams is the staff consultant for Little Lambs & Ivy Child Care Center, and he visits several pre-school programs with his Toothasaurus, educating young brushers about starting healthy dental care. He has participated in the CT Mission of Mercy, a clinic offering care to the under-insured. He supports various state and local charities that are health related and community focused. He has coached youth soccer for the past few years and is also involved in Simsbury Little League, however, his greatest athletic accolades were as a competitive swimmer for Trinity College. He and his family live in town. They enjoy several outdoor sports together and getting involved in various community and school related projects.

I am not interested in selling a patient something they do not need. I am part of my community and much like my values as a captain in the United States Air Force, I am true to those I serve.
Dr. Dominic Gambino received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University. He then continued his education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, CT where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Gambino completed his general practice residency at Danbury Hospital Dental Services in Danbury, CT.
His intensive postgraduate education furthered his training in the various disciplines of Dentistry, of which include: restorative and implant dentistry, crown and bridge, and root canal therapy. Dr. Gambino regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay current with the latest dental treatments and technologies. He is a member of both the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association.
He grew up in Wolcott, Connecticut and now currently resides in Farmington. When not in the office, Dr. Gambino enjoys his time on the golf course, playing board games, and traveling with family and friends. He enjoys playing the piano and taking yearly trips to northern Maine for white water rafting.
