Dr. Wall was born and raised in Honolulu and is a graduate of Iolani School. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri then went on to receive a Master of Science in Orthodontics from St. Louis University, also in Missouri. In 1985, Dr. Wall returned home to Hawaii and started his practice of orthodontics working out of offices in both Kaneohe and Ala Moana.
Dr. Wall is recognized as a Specialist in Orthodonticsby the American Association of Orthodontics, which means that he is 'bound by a code of ethics' to provide the highest level of care in the specialized field of orthodontics.While it is true that any general dentist can perform orthodontic treatment, only an orthodontic specialist is held to the highest standards and performs at the highest level of orthodontic care.
Dr. Wall is married and has 2 children. He enjoys surfing to stay fit--he and his son have taken surf trips to Tavarua Island in Fiji and the Mentawai Islands in Indonesia. Over the years, he learned the art of sculpting surfboards out of foam and has designed and built more than 35 custom surfboards for himself, family, and friends. He also enjoys sculpting wood, turning bowls, 'bandsaw boxes', ukuleles, and guitars. Some of these items are on display in our offices!
