Dr. Langan and his team enabled me to properly bite and chew food. It was the first time in my life I was able to do this. His team worked with my orthodontist (Dr. Fravel) and the entire process took close to 3 years. Even though this could have easily been the most stressful 3 years, Dr. Langan's expert skill and down-to-earth attitude kept me comfortable even on the day of my jaw surgery. He has a masterful skill level both inside the operating room and in conversation. I'm the type of person to ask a lot of questions and he made it a point to ensure they were always answered. Cannot recommend him enough. And for those who might be looking into corrective jaw surgery, it's one of the best decisions I've ever done and I'm sure it will bring as much quality to your life as it has to mine.

I loved how calm Dr. Langan made me feel. During my procedure to have wisdom teeth removed I managed to wake myself up to scratch my nose just as he was extracting the last tooth. He was very cool about it and I didn't even have time to panic. I didn't feel a thing, it was more of a startle than anything. Never felt more comfortable having an IV placed despite having an extreme phobia of needles. I would absolutely return to or refer Dr. Langan had I not been left with a rude and demeaning woman named Dee during my recovery phase. Dee was unkind and spoke as if I wasn't awake and in the room. I told her I was aware of how lucid I was and that I was aggravated that I was sitting right there and she didn't bother looking at or discussing my aftercare procedure with me instead of only addressing my roommate who had driven me to my appointment. Dee responded underhandedly that I must be feeling "sassy" considering my level of irritation with her belittling comments. The one thing that drove me to write this is that Dee then turned to my roommate and excused her terrible bedside manner by explaining that I only believed I was lucid, and that the drugs I had been given had an amnesiac affect, so I wouldn't recall the exchange. I do, and I'm extremely upset about it. I went in already nervous and uneasy and was lucky enough to have a very professional and kind group of doctors and nurses in my procedure with me walking me through everything and treating me with respect even after I woke up from anesthesia only to be left in the hands of someone who made me feel humiliated and unreasonable for trying to communicate and continue to receive respect despite the state I was in.

Have nothing but good things to say about this Oral Surgeon. He took all 4 wisdom teeth out and I never had a problem. I had impacted teeth and I was very nervous about the whole thing. I was given great care by his assistant, Diana, who I will never forget. She really made me feel at ease with the whole thing. They both are very caring people. I just wanted to let everyone else know that all surgery experiences don't have to be bad!!! Michelle P
