Dr. Hoefs is a native of Nebraska and has been in private practice for over 30 years, 20 of those years in Lincoln. In 1979, he earned his dental degree from University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He has over3,000 hours of Craniofacial Pain, TMD, dental sleep medicine, and orthodontic continuing education. He is Board Certified in the American Board of Craniofacial Pain.
Originally from Fremont, Nebraska, Dawn is a dental assistant at Lincoln TMJ Therapy. She has been a dental assistant since 1988. As a TMD patient herself, Dawn has a special understanding of what our patients are experiencing. She began working with TMD patients in 1990, and continues to help educate patients and raise awareness of TMD.
Originally she was a dental assitant and then moved onto ortho and TMJ assisting. Currently she is the lab technician for Craniofacial Pain Center and is enjoying the challenges and flexibility this position allows since she has two young boys at home that keep her very busy!
Dawn grew up in Kansas and has lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Utah and has called Nebraska home since 2003. She has worked in the medical industry for many years and is currently our front office coordinator, specializing in insurance and billing. Outside the office, Dawn enjoys spending time with her three sons and granddaughter and taking her dog on long walks.
