Dr. Denise Chow, Dr. Bridget Ko, Dr. John Diune, and Dr. Michael H. Chow - Pediatric dentist in Nashua, NH

He graduated from Indiana University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. He did his internship and residency in pediatric dentistry at Mott Childrens Health Center and Hurley Medical Center in Michigan. He then completed an orthodontics specialty training with a Master of Medical Science degree from the prestigious Harvard University in Boston. For over ten years, Dr. Chow was a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and New England Medical Center in Boston, teaching both undergraduate dental students and graduate dentists in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. He is a board certified orthodontist and has received the honor of diplomate status by the American Board of Orthodontics.

He is actively involved in the Massachusetts Dental Society serving as a member of the Executive Board of the Merrimack Valley District. He is also a delegate representing the Merrimack Valley to the Massachusetts Dental Society.

I come to Southern New Hampshire Orthodontics with over 10 years of experience practicing pediatric dentistry and orthodontics in New York City, Atlanta and the greater Boston area. I grew up with a father who is a pediatric dentist and orthodontist and a twin sister who also became an orthodontist! I truly enjoy serving our community through my orthodontic profession. Having the opportunity to be part of my patients lives as their bites and smiles are transformed brings joy to my day. I am passionate about making peoples lives better through good oral health and truly enjoy giving people confidence when they smile.

Dr. Denise Chow, Dr. Bridget Ko, Dr. John Diune, and Dr. Michael H. Chow - Pediatric dentist in Nashua, NH

I attended Boston College for my undergraduate education and received a BS in Biochemistry. I continued on to the University of Pennsylvania for dental school, earning my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2004. While at Penn, I spent extensive time at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphias Pediatric Dentistry and Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Departments. I then completed postgraduate training at New York University College of Dentistry where I received my certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. While in Atlanta, I was on staff at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, where I worked in the Craniofacial Clinic, providing orthodontic care to patients with Craniofacial anomalies.

I believe that it is important to stay current with the latest techniques in orthodontics. Each year, I attend the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) annual conference. I have attended the inaugural World Society of Lingual Orthodontics Meeting and am Invisalign certified. I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), NH Dental Society, MA Dental Society, and Christian Medical Dental Association. I am a past diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Steve, is a pediatrician, preventive medicine physician and pastor (he received his M.Div locally a Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary). We enjoy participating in dental and medical missions to countries, recently, to Guatemala and Tanzania, treating people who rarely have a chance to see a dentist. I have been an avid marathon runner, qualifying for New York City and the Boston Marathon several years in a row. A personal highlight was finishing in the top 100 Female USA runners for the 2005 New York City Marathon!

Dr. Chow is a board certified specialist and has received the honor of diplomate status by the American Board of Orthodontics. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and went on to complete her dental training at Columbia University in New York City, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2004. She then completed two years of postgraduate training at New York University College of Dentistry where she obtained her certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. While she was at NYU, she was a clinical instructor in Invisalign and restorative dentistry. Her research concentrated on Periodontal status using fixed and removable orthodontic appliances: Results after one year of active therapy.

Dr. Denise Chow, Dr. Bridget Ko, Dr. John Diune, and Dr. Michael H. Chow - Pediatric dentist in Nashua, NH

She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the Northeast Society of Orthodontics (NESO), the American Dental Association (ADA), New Hampshire Dental Society, and Massachusetts Dental Society.

This is the perfect place to bring your child for their first dentist visits, because it will make all the other dentists they visit seem like angels. I cry every time I leave my new dentist because they prove to me that I don't deserve to be treated the way I did at Dr.Chows office. With Dr chow I did not feel heard. I did not feel like he cared about my comfort or safety during our appointments. He was rough, and clearly isn't a fan of children. I had dentist assistances sit on my legs when I wouldn't stop moving. I begged for my father to be in the room for the needle and Dr chow refused to wait. A nurse encouraged me to bring earbuds so I couldn't hear the machine but Chows elbow knocked the bud out of my ear and when I asked him to stop, he refused. There's just so many bizzare things that I thought were normal for a dentist to do, but now that I'm a self-respecting adult, Iunderstand it doesn't have to be this way. Also I've had to have multiple examples of Dr chows work replaced or repaired years before the estimated expiration of those fillings. I'm just shocked people still bring their children there.

Great pediatric dentist. They are very attentive and are informative. They are patient with my many questions and love their antique collection. My daughter said today coming out of the car to this dentist "yay it the fun dentist!" Shes been coming for almost 2 years. So happy i found them!

If you have a dayjob don't bother. This place is not accommodating AT ALL. its a PEDIATRIC dentist open til 5 but will NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE make me an appointment later than 10:45 am. As someone who babysits 4 young kids I have to lose money and the. other has to also lose money if I cant babysit simply because God forbid a place opens til 5 sees a patient in the afternoon or late morning. Not to mention when I had an emergency they wouldn't even bother to check if anything was availble before immediately insisting I look elsewhere. Never in my life have I ever dealt with a place open late only to tell you that no matter what your situation they can only see you in the morning or not at all. Really difficult to find decent dentist in Nashua and its sad that I have to travel past the ones right down the street because they can't perform simple task or make simple accommodations

My kids have always had a great experience here! Even when my son had a cavity, he was so well cared for that he had no complaints of discomfort or pain. We're so grateful!

Before you read this and think I am complaining, my time at this place was OVER 15 years ago and still so fresh in my mind! I am only writing about this because I just had to leave my awesome dentist over 10 years. This was the WORST experience of my life!!! I went to Mr. Chow for my braces. This was such a miserable 2.5 years of my life. Some examples are: When filling a cavity, he put the novocaine on my gum. Pretty much cried during this experience, never asked if I was okay! Almost 1.5 years into having my braces, he asked if I wanted them off, thank goodness my mother was in the room who asked if they were ready to come off, his response was NO!!!!!!! What medical professional would do that to a kid? Once they finally did come off, he FORCED the retainer in my mouth, that was painful, and that night when I tried putting it back in after eating, I could not because it did not properly fit. I would never want a child to experience such a horrible time like I did.

I took my son of age 4 to see Dr. Chow I can't even begin to describe how satisfactory the visit was. On the first visit my wife had taken him and he explained to her what it would be done. When I had to take him to get a filling done and pull one of his front teeth ( it was discolored and had an infection due to a fall in the bathtub when he was 2). Not only the doctor explained to me everything in detail and what it was happening to his teeth and what the procedure was He gave my son the most attention I EVER seen in any given office. From cleaning the teeth and comparing to trains and trucks. To counting down from 5 to 1 whenever he had to do any work. I was blown away with the professionalism and caring to my son while being treated. Thank you for taking such a good care of him! Sincerely. Leandro Sgarioni
