Dr. Esposito , originally hailing from NJ, graduated from The College of NJ in 1997 with Honors. She was recognized as a Garden State Scholar. In 2001 she graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. A fixture of the Deans list, she graduated with several awards including the Oral Surgery Honor Society, American Association of Women Dentists Leadership and Clinical Excellence, Jersey Alumni Award for Clinical Excellence and the Stomatognathic Honor Society.

She completed her general practice residency in Philadelphia at the prestigious Albert Einstein medial center where she enhanced her clinical skills and had additional training in endodontics, surgery and implant dentistry. Next her journey brought her to Annapolis, MD where her husband had taken a position as a faculty member at the United States Naval Academy. During her first years there she had the unique opportunity to work in several different dental offices that ranged in focus. These varying experiences led to the desire to open her own office and meld all the wonderful experiences she had treating so many different types of patients. She wanted to create a space where everyone could count on getting the best high quality care with a warm chairside manner.

On June 1st 2008 Dr Esposito opened the doors to Chesapeake Dental Arts in Arnold, MD. As a wife, mother, and dentist she brings the patience and compassion necessary to deal with the challenging needs of your entire family. It is a place where you can bring your children for sealants, your parents for implants and yourself for routine care or a smile makeover including veneers.

Dr. Esposito is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. But her most rewarding and challenging continuing education endeavor is her participation in the Advanced Implant Dental Study Club. It is a member of other Dawson trained dentists that meet twice yearly to confer on complex implant cases and review current literature. As implant dentistry is constantly evolving, it remains a vital way to explore new topics.

Dr. Esposito has been recognized by her peers in Whats up Magazine dating back since 2006 as a Top Dentist. Her patients have lovingly voted for her in Chesapeake Family Magazine as a Favorite Dentist.

Dr. Lani Yap-Encomienda graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park as a College Park Scholar and a Maryland Distinguished Scholar. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2016 from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she completed clerkships in both Pediatrics and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and served on the Committee for Dental Recruitment and Admissions and the Clinical Advisory Board.

Graduating at the top of her class and in recognition of her academic and clinical achievement, Dr. Yap was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society, and Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.She earned several individual awards, including the Nathan David Gold Memorial Award for conscientious and enthusiastic dedication to clinical practice and the Irving I. Abramson Endodontics Award for outstandingskill and expertise in the diagnosis and technical aspects of endodontics.

After graduation, she completeda General Practice Residency atThe Johns Hopkins Hospital under the Department of Otolaryngology's Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry - one of the nation's most prestigious and selective general practice residency programs.

During residency, Dr. Yap gained more extensive training in hospital-based dentistry, comprehensive treatment planning, and emergency oral care. As one of Hopkins' three dental residents, she treated dental trauma cases, cardiac and transplant patients prior to surgery, and head and neck cancer patients preparing for radiation-oncology treatment. She was also exposed to pediatric dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgeries for medically compromised patients requiring general anesthesia in an operating room setting. Further, she treated patients in the dental clinic, gaining additional experience with fixed and removable prosthodontics, rotary endodontics, dental implants, and outpatient oral surgery.

Prior to her dental calling, Dr. Yap was an academic advisor at the University of Maryland's College of Computer, Mathematical, & Natural Sciences. She grew up in Ellicott City, attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson, and trained in classical ballet for 18 years. She and her husband Steve have two young boys and reside in Anne Arundel County.

Barbara Truby - Barbara has been working in the dental field since 1991. She has worked for Dr. Esposito since 2009. She is always eager to assist patients with any questions they may have. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and her 3 children Steven, Brittney, and Joseph.

Cass- Cass has been working at the front desk for Dr. Esposito since October 2021. She grew up in Arnold Maryland and still lives there with her cat Puff. In her free time she loves to read and take walks.

Kristyna Beier - Kristyna was born and raised in Arnold, and is a graduate of Broadneck High School. Kristyna has been working with Dr. Esposito since graduating from The University of Maryland Dental Hygiene program in 2011. Her expertise is in identifying the needs of her patients and prioritizing care. Who doesnt love a healthy smile? After marrying a Naval Academy grad, Kristyna left the area and continued practicing dental hygiene in South Carolina, Hawaii and volunteered with dental missions in Cambodia and Nepal. Kristyna is happy to finally be back in the area raising her family, boating regularly, and enjoying a great crab cake!

Williams Rodriguez -Williams Rodriguez is originally from Dominican Republic and has lived in the USA since 2003. In addition to a degree in dental hygiene, he has a bachelors degree in French! His family recently relocated back to Maryland after a four year stint in Louisville, Kentucky. He loves treating all kinds of patients, and has special experience in pediatrics and periodontal therapy

Laurie Reedy -Laurie has been a dental assistant since 2004. She has been with Dr. Esposito since she opened her practice. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors hiking with her boyfriend Adam and her 3 sons Matthew, Ryan, and Christopher.

Becky - Becky grew up in Arnold, graduating from Broadneck high school before going to the University of South Carolina to complete her undergraduate degree in Biology. Since graduating in December 2020, she moved back home and found her love for dentistry through working with Dr. Esposito. She is planning to continue her education in dental school starting in 2023. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her rescued cat, Blue.

Jen Whitfield -Jen has been a dental assistant since 2018. She has been with Dr. Esposito since October 2021. When not at work, Jen loves to spend time with her wife, Alexis, 2 dogs, Bentley and Lola, and kitten, Loki.
