Copley Square Oral Surgery was established by Dr. Jennifer Smith-Williams in 1990. Through her gentle touch and expertise she has established a surgical center in the heart of Boston with areputation for delivering excellent care within a calm, caringenvironment.
Dr. Smith-Williams is a graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.She did her oral and maxillofacial internship and residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in NewYork. She is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and in dental anesthesiology.
She is the clinical instructor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at MassachusettsGeneral Hospital where she actively teaches and trains surgical residents and students. In addition to being on staff as a surgeon at the MGH, she is also on staff at Carney Hospital. Dr. Smith-Williams is married and has three children.

I visited for the first time with Dr August today, in her Brockton, Ma office. She was so wonderful I feel compelled to leave this review. She is personable, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, has a great "bedside manner", and I would highly recommend her !!!

I am sorry that this practice doesn't answer the phone. As I live near by, I walked over because I needed a tooth extraction and I wanted to know how much they were charging (Medicare doesn't pay for tooth extractions). The people at the reception desk were very rude and they gave me a figure from $300 to $800. When I asked what was the difference the reply was $500. At the moment I knew I didn't want to be treated there. I am very sorry because I know Dr. August from years back and she is very competent and a nice person. MGH used to be a very nice place but now it is a big corporation called Partners and patients are not treated with compassion they are just a number in a card.
