I had came here few years ago and I had one of the worst experience from the front office staff. There was this one particular staff that was money hungry and wanted to get much of my money from my insurance. I decided not to do the procedure and they charged a heavy consultation fees. That one particular staff and environment felt more like a sales pitch to do unnecessary dental work. Then I also witness that staff trying to charge and clean out another a patient insurance based on what was left over. You would think no one is watching & listening but I saw and heard it all. This place is unethical and I would not recommend at all. STAY AWAY!!

Amazing Doc and team. Everyone is super helpful, patient and accommodating. Took very good care of my mom and I recommended Dr. Markowitz to my sister as well. He has a wonderful personality and is extremely kind and professional.

Dr. Markowitz extracted a tooth. It was (shots included) absolutely painless, and he was very compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

At first I thought everything was going to be ok because when I called and spoke to Sandra she stated everything would be covered don't worry .. so when the day of the surgery comes they try to take credit for the pano my dentist took and charge me for that .. they didnt even know what ins policy I had just threw out random pricing numbers. We had to call the ins just for them to verify what I do owe then they charge this ridiculous 15$ ppe for the staff. The staff there do not communicate well with each other , and another had a very bad attitude. They do not specify things correctly and It took 10 mins just to get change for my payment , it was just a nightmare never again.

Dr. Markowitz is spectacular. He explains every detail of what he is going to do and asks you if you have questions. He removed a broken teeth and I did not feel any pain at all.

Dr Markowitz went above and beyond to help me and I can't express how grateful I am. I fell and hit my chin on concrete which resulted in a busted chin, fractured jaw, and 7 broken teeth. I know he genuinely cares for his patients because he saw me next day and stayed open after hours to extract and put in dental implants. With my jaw being fractured in 2 places he was extremely careful during surgery to not cause more injury and certainly avoiding more pain. He is experienced and professional but also affable. I had novocaine and laughing gas so I was awake and aware of what was going on but didn't feel a thing. Time to brag on his amazing staff! Jessica was my go-to person for questions about the procedure and cost she is caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. Communication is extremely important and she was constantly calling me with updates and not waiting for me to call her. I appreciate her going above and beyond dealing with my difficult insurance company. Last but not least Rachael, this is the girl that answers the phone and also does check-ins. When I called asking for one person, she said, "hey this is Rachael, how are you feeling?" I met her days before and she still remembered me and cared to ask how I am. Today is Saturday and a holiday weekend so the office is closed and that didn't stop her from calling to see how I am. She wanted to see how I am doing since surgery was last night. She gave me her personal number and told me to reach out to her anytime and wished me a happy 4th of July. I highly recommend Dr Markowitz and his staff if you need any oral surgery done. Thank you all for caring about me and taking great care of my needs.

I would not recommend this place! The consultation in itself created a headache for me and my mother, we were given multiple prices to pay and the number fluctuated into the 100's+, they tried to bill us for an X-ray but I was the one that supplied my own X-ray from my dentists prior to the consultation. I was very polite and respectable to the receptionist and billing employee, but received horrible attitude and rudeness. I understand I may look young, but I understand what it is like to work in healthcare and that patients' care must be a priority over a bad attitude/not wanting to resolve a misunderstanding. Most of the time an employee, would continually interrupt my conversation I was having with the receptionist to make a point in a very harsh tone. It is ridiculous to have been treated this way.

I Just wanted to thank Rachel so much for her help and being so polite and having patience with me. Worker's like herself deserve to be thanked and recognized for taking extra miles for patients and being so kind. The staff was also pleasant for it being my first time. Thank you all and Dr Markowitz for seeing me in such short notice.

Dr. Markowitz is incredibly kind, understanding and compassionate with masterful skill as he extracted my tooth nicely. Made sure i had no pain and calmed me the whole process. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Sir!

There is no other way to describe Dr. Markowitz but to say he is Dr. Amazing. Me and my son Frankie have been here several times for treatment for many things and him and his staff have treated us very special. When doing treatment on both my son Frankie and I we both never experienced any pain. Dr. Markowitz will always make you feel comfortable. Finally I must say it once again, he is Dr Amazing.

I came here for emergency extractions, since I had been experiencing horrendous pain on/off with two partially fractured-off teeth. I typically have only been treated by the same dentist for the last 20+ years and since he was on vacation (poor timing for me and my teeth!), I was left in search of someone reliable to do the extractions. I'm actually really glad I came here and that says a lot - considering it was for teeth extractions, but he made me feel comfortable and truly listened to my concerns. Everyone made me feel comfortable, were respectful, and efficient! The procedure itself was so fast and I felt no pain - just typical pressure. I only needed to take Advil/Tylenol once more since then! I go back for a follow-up soon and one more extraction and I'm definitely not as nervous. I know I'm in good hands and I'd highly recommend his office for any oral surgery/TMJ issues/etc! Thanks again for making an uncomfortable appointment literally painless for me! :) I appreciate it!

my whole extraction process was phenomenal. i called on a Friday and the nice girl said she would call me on Monday for the soonest time. she did just that. i filled out all the paperwork online, (thank you for using that service as my handwriting is atrocious) and didnt have to wait that long to be in the chair. my anxiety was quickly put to rest after we talked for a few, i explained my anxiety and after the painless Lidocaine shots i didnt feel any discomfort at all even during the extraction. i was gauzed up and started healing quickly. upon checkout they were nice enough to call my pharmacy and my antibiotics were ready by the time i got there. this office was referred to me by my dentist while they are closed during this pandemic and they couldn't have recommended a better oral surgeon. so very thankful they stay open during this time. im very happy with the care i got and may even consider implants now that i know how gentile and attentive i was treated. Thank You Dr.M, you turned my frown upside down!

I DO NOT recommend this office for the following reasons: I went in for a consultation to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had to take panoramic x-rays at this office in order for the doctor to review my teeth. The receptionist then said she will give me a call the same day to let me know how much I will need to pay for the procedure out of pocket. I did not receive a call until the following week on Friday to confirm my surgery appointment while saying she FORGOT to call my insurance to get the quote of how much I will need to pay out of pocket (I had scheduled my surgery for that following Monday). I already did not feel comfortable going in for a surgery after not even knowing how much I needed to pay out of pocket. So I decided to go to another oral surgeon that was recommended to me for a consultation. This office also needed panoramic x-rays in order to check on my teeth so I called Dr. Markowitz office to request that my x-rays be sent to the other oral surgeon's office. Whoever I spoke to said I needed to pay $275 in order for them to send over my x-rays to the other office since my insurance didn't cover it. I made the payment right away because my consultation was coming up in 3 days from the day I called for the request. They confirmed they will send the x-rays right after my call. The next day, the other office called me again to let me know they had not received my x-rays from Dr. Markowitz office so I had to call them again. The same person I had spoken to the day before said their x-ray system wasn't working for whatever reason so they can't send my x-rays and they did not know when their system will be working again. (they didn't even call me right away when i first requested my x-rays to let me know their system was down, I had to call them). I gave them until the following day to follow up with me on the status of my x-rays and if they have been sent. Long story short, I got on the phone with the manager and she gave me empty answers "I don't know when our system will be back up" "I will let the doctor know of this issue" and so on. I paid $275 for MY panoramic x-rays that I could no longer use due to THEIR system being down. This is an oral surgery place.. how is your system "down" for more than 2 days with no back-up copies of your x-rays? how do you treat your patients? Anyways, if you want the best service, go to Dr. Juan Alonso in North Bergen, he was amazing !!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
