Dr. Jason McGibony joined Dr. Jack Proctor's dental practice in 1999 and is still excited about continuing the years of great dental care that patients in the community have come to know and appreciate from this practice.
A life-long resident of Statesboro, GA, he is the 1989 valedictorian of Portal High School. In 1994, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University and then graduated in 1999 from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Dr. McGibony is active in the community and has participated in the American Cancer Society, sponsoring and volunteering at the Diamond Ball and Relay for Life. He is also a volunteer for the Hearts and Hands Dental Clinic in Statesboro, GA. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. McGibony understands the importance of continuing education and wants to be able to offer his patients the latest in dental technology and technique. Dr. McGibony has continued his education at such events as The Hinman Dental Meeting in Atlanta, GA. He is certified in Invisalign clear aligners and CEREC single-visit porcelain crowns, and is apreferred Invisalign provider for the Statesboro area.
Dr. McGibony and his wife Michele, a professor of Chemistry at Georgia Southern University, have two daughters, Skylar and Sinclair. Both attend Trinity Presbyterian School. Dr. McGibony is active in Grace Community Church, enjoys traveling and being outdoors, and frequently attends school events with his children.
Dr. Unes is originally from Peoria, Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, where she gave campus tours, was involved with Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, and worked as Integrative Biology lab preparatory staff. She attended Southern Illinois University in Alton, Illinois where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine with honors before moving to Kansas City to attend an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Missouri. Dr. Unes and her family moved to Georgia in 2019.
Dr. Unes currently resides in Statesboro with her husband, Joe, and their pets. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, visiting with her family, and reading. She and her husband love traveling and are enjoying exploring Coastal Georgia!
Dr. Unes' favorite aspect of dentistry is helping to restore an individual's confidence in their smile. She is passionate about high quality care and is a life-long learner, frequently taking continuing education courses in her time away from the office. She is currently working towards her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Robert Walinchus obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has practiced dentistry for 38 years and counting and remains as enthusiastic about the profession as he felt meeting his first patients.
Dr. Walinchus has a specific interest in rebuilding patients mouths with dental implants and implant-related restorations. His attention to detail, thorough diagnostic process, and in-depth treatment planning allows him to deliver exceptional, natural-looking and functional results. By tailoring treatment to the individual, and working closely with them throughout the process, he keeps each patient informed and comfortable, so they are confident in the care they receive.
Dr. Walinchus is proud to be part of Dr. McGibony & Associates. He appreciates the combined years of experience, insights, and knowledge everyone brings together for their patients. Through collaborative treatment, they are able to determine the very best way to correct even the most complex dental problems.
He regularly attends national and international meetings and participates in various study clubs, staying current on the latest advancements in oral healthcare. Dr. Walinchus also teaches a dental implant course and lectures nationally on dental implants and implant-related subjects.
A husband, father, and grandfather, Dr. Walinchus values time with his loved ones: his wife of almost 40 years, their three children, and their seven grandchildren. He also enjoys golf and flyfishing, and loves to fly, as well.
With his pilots license, Dr. Walinchus has joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He flies search and rescue missions, as well as other coast watching missions, and is grateful to be of service to the community.
