Dr. Tape established Pediatric Dentistry in 1994 in Richmond, Texas with the philosophy that every child deserves the opportunity for quality care. In 2007, Dr. Tape expanded her practice to provide a new spacious state-of the-art office in Rosenberg only one mile from her original office.
Dr. Tape graduated Cum Laude from LSU with a Bachelors Degree in Science and received her Doctoral of Dental Surgery from University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.She then specialized in pediatrics by completing a residency program at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she served as Chief Resident.She is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She is a passionate doctor, leader and mother with great compassion for others, as exemplified by her multiple philanthropic commitments throughout the community.Along with beingextremely active in the community, sheserves on the board of directors for Oak Bend Medical Center and TEXANA Behavioral Center. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, Lindsey and their two daughters, Julia and Meagan.
Liz joined our team in January 2009. She has worked in various areas of the office but finds her title as clinical coordinator the most rewarding. She enjoys building long lasting relationships with her patients and their parents. Along with keeping the office running smoothly you will see Liz at various events in the community. She is married to Thomas and they have two miniature Australian Sheppards, Gus and Callie. Outside of the office Liz enjoys riding horses, spending time with family and going dancing!
Mary Lou has been with Dr. Tape since 1996. Not only will you find Mary Lou in the treatment rooms assisting Dr. Tape,she also handles the ordering of supplies and maintenance of all equipment. She most enjoys seeing the children grow within the practice and has been able to do that with her longevity in the practice. Mary Lou and her husband, Javier have two children; Brianna and Aaron. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Adrianna is one of our dental hygienist. She graduated from WCJC Dental Hygiene Program in 2005 and shortly after began her career with Dr. Tape. What Adrianna enjoys most about her job is teaching children and parents the importance of good dental hygiene. Along with her husband, Jeremy, they have three children; Alyssa, Jalen and Peyton. Together as a family they enjoy spending time with friends and traveling to visit family in Colorado.
Josette graduated from WCJC Dental Hygiene Program in 2000 and joined our team in 2012. She finds calming an anxious child and showing the children the benefits of good oral hygiene very rewarding. Josetteis married to her husband, Dewayne. They have two children; Ashley and Ryan, who recently married his high school sweetheart, Kori. In her free time she enjoys going fishing with her husband and spending time with family.

I won't recommend this place such a hassle just to get an appointment....the receptionist knows everything make and appointment with her she does all her work over the phone lol

As usual great visit! Staff is super friendly and professional. Joann is our favorite and hygienists are super efficient, professional and great with kids. Dr. Tape is super knowledgeable, straightforward and caring. Totally recommend them.

Absolutely love all the ladies that take care of my daughter. No matter if it's just a cleaning or xrays and a cleaning they always take their time and explain what all they are going to do. She always leaves with a smile, which makes Mommy and Daddy happy too.

I use to love this place but now I don't they take forever to see you and the wait is to long. You could have a appointment at 1 and they won't see till 2. They tell you a price during consultation and then when you come in for treatment you they tell you different price.

The best pediatric dentist ever! I searched for so long a dentist that was perfect for my family. After trying 3 dentist I finally found May Tape and her amazing staff! You feel the warmth and their love for children every time you step foot inside!

This so called dentist is SICK ..Would give no stars.. this place is a torture dentist. The use of versed medicine seems the only option does this so called crazy dentist have no knowledge of other methods of meds to children so young and she straps them down neck back so the child is terrified and would not let me in the room. What ever you do DO NOT take your child there she is sick and (I hear takes Medicaid.. because she knows these low income kids have no choice but maybe to drive further and they can't )strap down your child like a mental patient.. so drive further or do whatever you have to, to avoid this sick women. Like the one dentist tortured so many kids of all ages until someone finally saw he was using no meds pulling teeth with no pain reliever or numbness who really knows what this may tape is really doing. She needs to go back to whatever hole she came out of that her people are from. And what kind of name is May Tape it's a USA name so people can feel a little better more American she is sick people don't let your baby of 1 2 or age 3 go through this they are fine they say they need this they need that don't listen brush the teeth and wait til they are a least 4 or 5 so they can tell you what is really going on because I never went back it hurts me that I let it happen once but I urge and plead with you do not take your kids there, you will thank me later from saving all the hurt of seeing or remembering what your child sounded like screaming no please don't make me go back there alone and forced to take the liquid like Jim Jones types of stuff and strapped down worse than a mental patient you know why it's because she has no patience and just want to get the work done claims it's for them not to grab at her or the instruments.. bull she is not a real dentist she is a sick demon
