Dr. Mariana has an extensive background in general dentistry and orthodontics. She comes from a family of orthodontists, as both parents are orthodontists in Venezuela. Her father attended the University of Washington Orthodontic program, as did Dr. Mariana. She worked for three years as a general dentist before being accepted to the University of Washington Orthodontics specialty program.After completing her residency of two and a half years, Dr. Mariana has been practicing as a orthodontist for six years.She is also on the faculty at the University of Washington as a part-time instructor.It has been Dr. Mariana's dream to have her own practice.

I handle the day-to-day running of the office, and am the treatment coordinator. I work closely with patients and parents to get treatment started:reviewing the process, answering questions, and managing the paperwork and records.
Family keeps me busy when Im not at work. I have been married for 20 years and we have four wonderful children and two dogs. I love spending my free time with family, attending my childrens sporting events, and long walks with the dogs.

I work in our clinic, where I handle sterilization, preparation for procedures, and seat patients. I assist Dr. Max, chairside, place wires, take records, and also work in our lab to create retainers.

As an assistant, I sterilize and prepare the clinical area, seat patients, and assist Dr. Max with procedures. I also change out wires, take records, and encourage patients to keep up with home care and oral hygiene.

I've been seeing Dr. Mariana for 6 months now. She's the best! Friendly, down to earth, caring and most of all full of knowledge in her profession. I've been having some kind of pain on my teeth and she took care of it. Always quick to help and fix the problem. I couldn't find a better orthodontist and I'm so thankful I see her!

Very nice and helpful I was having some pain they got me in right away and found the problem although they didn't deal with what my issue was a bad 20 year old partial they referred me to a place that does .no more pain and working on new teeth. they are nice and friendly

Dr. Mariana is fantastic! Everyone there is so friendly and professional. I have had an amazing Invisalign experience with them and would call it a huge success! We have kids who go there and they're having similar positive experiences. Highly recommend them!!

I began coming to this orthodontist when it was under the ownership of Dr. Max. When I heard the business was being bought by another orthodontist, I was nervous. However, Dr Mariana shows the same attention to detail, passion, and determination for perfection with her work. I am so thankful and impressed by the staff and Dr. Mariana and have had an amazing experience.

We are here temporarily from out of state and Dr Mariana has been AMAZING at helping us with a few snags in between visits to our orthodontist in Cali. She, along with her staff are friendly, efficient and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her!

I've been working with Dr. Mariana for the last couple of months and my experience has been incredible. I'm using Invisalign and I can already tell the difference from when I started 8 weeks ago. I also appreciate that Dr Mariana is constantly monitoring my progress through the Invisalign app since I live far from the clinic so she schedules me when I truly need it.

Please note the following review was older review for Dr Max who has since sold his practice and retired and is very missed. The following review not intended or applies to current 2022 owner. Kind staff, extremely gifted orthodontist, We will be moving shortly, but still drive a hour and a half to continue seeing Dr Max for our 4 boys. This place gives amazing smiles to your kids, with skill, and competence is completely worth the drive! Boys say thanks for their grins Dr Max!

I saw Dr. Mariana to get a new invisalign retainer and it was a really easy process. She has a scanner machine that is way better than getting impressions (the goo stuff), and I got the finished retainer in a week! She was super nice and personable and I can see that this is a great for kids, or adults like me. I will definitely be back!

For 8 years we've had the pleasure of visiting Dr Max on a monthly basis! 2 kids with 2 phases each gave us a consistent pattern. Everyone has been fabulous from beginning to end! We are in our final months and will miss everyone's beautiful smiles!
