Dr. Lisa is originally from Valparaiso, Indiana. She received a B.S. degree from the University of Notre Dame and graduated Cum Laude in 1999. After her undergraduate studies, she pursued her dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2003. Upon graduation, Dr. Lisa spent one year in a general practice residency in Indianapolis, Indiana focusing on adults with special needs. She moved to Denver, Colorado where she practiced general dentistry for three years. Dr. Lisa then decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where she received her Masters degree in Dental Science in 2009. Dr. Lisa worked in Forest Park, Illinois from July 2009 until starting at Dayspring Pediatric Dentistry in March of 2014.

Dr. Lisa is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Maureen grew up in the Little Italy neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois and attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. After her undergraduate studies, she decided to follow in her mothers footsteps and pursued her dental degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Maureen continued her studies to specialize in pediatric dentistry and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Masters degree in Oral Sciences.

Dr. Maureens research in the oral health knowledge and behaviors of pregnant adolescents was published in The Journal of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Maureen joined Dayspring Pediatric Dentistry in 2007 and she has been practicing here ever since receiving her specialty in pediatric dentistry. She enjoys volunteering her time to provide dental care in mission trips and has served the less fortunate in the Philippines, Jamaica, and Honduras.

Dr. Maureen is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, The Chicago Dental Society, and Fox Valley Dental Society.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Maureen spends her time with her husband Tim and their two daughters, Angelina and Amelia. She enjoys the company of family and friends, as well as painting, traveling, and attending musical theater. Dr. Maureen is a breast cancer survivor and is a strong advocate of research and support for cancer patients. Dr. Maureen has a working knowledge of Tagalog and Spanish.

I have been working in the dental field for 40 years, the last 12 years of which have been at Dayspring Pediatric Dentistry. It has been a true pleasure to have formed relationships with our families and to see the children grow.

I have been married to my wonderful husband Dave for 39 years and we have two grown children, Cyndi and David. We also have a four-year-old granddaughter named Addilyn, or shall we say, Princess Addilyn! We enjoy our weekends spending time with our children and never getting tired of hearing, Come on Mama and Papa, lets play!

I graduated from Kishwaukee Community College in 2003 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. I then went on to attend the dental hygiene program at Rock Valley College, where I graduated in 2007. Upon my graduation, I was awarded the Colgate Star for excellence and commitment to the hygiene profession. I am also an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. After graduation, I started working for Dayspring and have been there ever since. I enjoy working with children and educating them about their dental health.

My husband Cory and I have two amazing boys, Noah and Nash. They both love to play sports and being outside. In my free time, I enjoy reading and participating in my sons sports and school activities.

I have been in the dental field since 2010. I started at Dayspring as a dental assistant intern at Elgin Community College and went on to earn my degree as a dental hygienist from Harper College in 2014. The best part of working with children is helping them feel comfortable in the chair and watching them grow through the years.

I have been a dental assistant since 2005. Ive had the pleasure of being part of Dayspring since 2012. It has been my passion to work with children; its important to me that they have a positive experience when they come into our office. I am bilingual, which is helpful for our Spanish-speaking patients.

I graduated from Elgin Community Colleges dental assisting program in 2017 and have a background in Early Childhood Education. I knew since grade school that my passion in life was to work with children. I have been at Dayspring since 2018 and love being able to give children a positive dental experience.

We care for each child as family: kindly and patiently, with respect for the little ones unique emotional, physical, and developmental concerns. Our warmth and compassion eases anxiety as we help the child feel safe in a new environment.

Dr. Lisa and Dr. Maureen are highly educated, experienced pediatric dentists. Their post-doctorate specialty training allows them to provide specialized dental services that address the needs of a growing mouth and growing person.

Our doctors are also mothers and know how to connect with children in a warm and caring manner. Their gentle kindness and attention to detail ensure each child knows they are safe, heard, and treasured!
