Dr. Ramsay is a 1991 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. He has practiced General Dentistry in Champaign since 1992, serving everyone from young children to adults. Let Dr. Ramsay and his team show you their commitment in caring for all your dental needs. He has kept up with the latest technology and utilizes it in his daily practice. Dr. Ramsay practices all aspects of General Dentistry, and uses a network of highly qualified specialists if the need for specialized care arises.
Bailey is one of Dr. Ramsays Hygienists. She graduated from Parkland College in 2017. She enjoys getting to know her patients and strives to make you as comfortable as possible during your dental visits. She will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding your oral health.
Shelley has over 27 years experience working in an office setting. She believes in striving for high standards and constantly looking for ways to improve your visit. Shelley wants everyone that leaves Dr. Ramsays office to feel that they received the best dental care available.
Brittany has been with Ramsay Family Dentistry for over 10 years. Brittany feels that its important that since she is one of the first people a patient sees when they walk in the door that she is the one that makes them feel welcome and at ease. She enjoys making your visit as seamless as possible and helping you understand your dental benefit to its full potential.
Outside of the office she tries to spend as much time with her family and friends as possible. Brittany loves cooking for people, going to the movies, being at the pool in the summer and tailgating in the Fall (GO ILLINI)
Hana is Dr. Ramsays Assistant, she spends most of her time with her daughter Ayla (almost one) and her mastiff Mia. She really enjoys working in patient care. She intends to continue her educationin the Dental Hygiene field. She strives to make sure every patient leaves happy with their experience and believes everyone deserves a beautiful and healthy smile.

Quack! Was told I needed multiple cavities and root canals. Had one of the multiple root canals performed here and after much discomfort went to another office and was told there were no issues. This is a conveyor belt dentist. If they are in your network insurance prepare for unnecessary work or they will not get paid. Stay far away and save your teeth.

I went to Dr. Ramsay's office for many years when I lived in Champaign, from ~2010-2017. I always appreciated how punctually and efficiently the office was run, and how easy it was to schedule an appointment. Often you don't fully appreciate a place until time passes and you've had different experiences. Dr. Ramsay did a great job on my fillings as none of them have needed to be redone or replaced with crowns in the past ~10 years. (I can't say the same for the dentist I saw in college -- I ended up needing almost all of his fillings redone just a few years later.) Dr. Ramsay's office also never tried to sell me expensive services I didn't need, like crowns on teeth without issues like new cavities or decay (unlike some dentists I've seen since). I haven't been able to find a dental office where I live now that starts my appointment punctually and gets me in and out for routine cleanings and x-rays in an under an hour, like was always the case at Dr. Ramsay's office. The pricing was always fair and affordable, even with my low graduate student stipend and not-so-great dental insurance. Overall I highly recommend this office; I was sad to have to switch dentists when I moved away.

Very nice office with friendly staff, had a cleaning done last week and was very happy. I've also had a few old fillings replaced with no issues.

This place is a joke. Please don't go if you want a professional experience. My daughter went in to get a check up and whitening. They way over charged and also hurt her and had her gums bleeding. They had the nerve to tell her that it was her fault cause she was moving to much. She is 19 and said she sat very still and couldn't believe how rude they where when she asked about it. They also never seem to have their pricing g the same and always seem to have a problem with insurance and want to to pay. Then they get checks from insurance. A bunch of rude liars and cheats! Save yourself a lot of headaches and stay away from this place.

Hygienist that cleaned my teeth was awesome. Temp crown fell off 3days. (While i was out of the country) They left my mouth full of casting paste and debris from where he grounded my tooth down to nothing. I was spitting tooth pieces out of my mouth for 2hrs after the visit. Not sure why the tooth had to be ground down to nothing when only a small piece which had broken off. Didnt seem to bother the dr. Won't be returning. Getting permanent put on, the tooth was unbelievably painful. As Dr Ramsey was fitting the crown i was in a lot of pain. Asked Dr. If i he could at least put oral gel on the tooth, he said sure, but never did it, and continued to put the crown on a d off without any care of my pain. Was going to give one star except but the cleaning was very good

I have been a patient of Dr. Ramsay's for a few years. He has always taken good care of my son and I. Two weeks ago I cracked my tooth in half and he got me in right away for a crown. I have always been completely happy with Dr. Ramsay and his staff.

Overcharges. My bill was paid in 2012 for my kids and I never went back because of terrible service. Now in 2017 this dental office sent me to collections for $69 even though I have NEVER received a bill or phone call in regards to ANY balance with them.

First of all, my crown fell off and he scheduled me to be seen one hour later the same day. He did not even charge me for the visit. He gave me a ton of information on procedures that could be done, in that my crown could not be re-attached due to an incident I had as a child that resulted in damaged adult teeth. Meanwhile, he re-cemented the crown until my next appointment (Again, he did not charge me). The next visit was bridge work. He extracted a tooth which I completely did not feel. The whole procedure took less than an hour and was WAY cheaper than any other dentist I have been to. Throughout the whole procedure, he and his other staff repeatedly asked me how I was feeling to make sure I was comfortable. Other than the obvious pressure of having things pulled, I did not feel anything. Again, the total cost was HALF of what I have paid before. My permanent bridge was placed in today, again I felt nothing. The total time it took was less than 15 minutes. He and his staff took the time to give me detailed information regarding the process and answered all my questions. I am EXTREMELY pleased and satisfied with Dr. Ramsey and all of his staff!!! Thank You!!
