Dr. Park grew up in Portland and attended Jesuit High School. He went to college at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. After graduating he wanted to experience living overseas so he went to Fukuoka, Japan. In Japan he obtained a graduate degree in education, and after five years moved back to Portland. After working for Nike in Portland and Nintendo in Seattle, Dr. Park decided to follow his parents into dentistry (his father is a childrens dentist and mother an orthodontist) and attended Oregon Health and Science University. He worked for a large group dental practice before transitioning into his current practice.
Cyndal has been working as the office Patient Care Coordinator since 2016 and has enjoyed getting to know each and every one of our patients over the years. She specializes in facilitating schedules, dental health care needs and treatment plans, and works on behalf of our patients to maximize the use of insurance plan benefits.
Dawn joined our team in October 2017. She graduated from ApolloCollege Dental Assistant program in October 1995. Dawn enjoys the variety of tasks and duties that her work as an EFDA-certified Dental Assistant entails. She strives to help patients feel comfortable and informed during their time in the dental chair.
Prior to becoming a Dental Assistant, Dawn worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Gresham, Oregon.In her free time, Dawn enjoys working on her mini-farm with a variety of farm animals including cattle and chickens. She enjoys a variety of music from country to classic rock. She shares her home with WAY too many pets; dogs, cats, and a snake. You name it, she most likely has had it as a pet.
Sandy has been our Dental Hygienist since 2005. She graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and has been a Hygienist ever since. She loves the opportunities her career provides for getting to know so many nice patients and helping them with their oral health. Sandy stays informed about new research, treatment and dental products by taking continuing education courses and she stays current with her CPR certification.
Sandy also enjoys her family and loves to babysit her grandchildren. She and her husband have three adult children and three grandchildren who live in the area. She is a native Oregonian and has really enjoyed living and growing up in the Pacific Northwest.

I've been going to Dr. Park for about a year now! Dr. Park and his staff are so nice! Dr. Park takes the time to listen to my concerns and genuinely cares about his patients. I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Parks for four years and I have always received fast, friendly, courteous, and professional service from all of the staff. Dr. Parks is a man of real integrity and honesty. He has never suggested treatment that I did not need and recently took care of my cracked tooth so quickly and pain free. I highly recommend him and his staff. Susan

Courteous and genuine concern for patients. It was a first - no rushed procedure or pressure to leave promptly. At first, I missed the turn for the office and went completely the wrong rout.... so I was little delayed. But I was welcomed with a smile and positive vive. Medical documents are easy to fill, and clinic is clean and simple. Some places add all the decor and state of the art machines - which seems to reflect on the bill and number of cavities you supposedly have. Cleaning was done by Robin and she has such a outgoing personality, very easy to talk to and fun to listen. She made sure I didn't experience sudden jolt of pain, as I do have deeper pocket where my wisdom teeth was extracted, and kept me well informed of my condition and what I can do at home to improve my oral health. Cecilia is a bright lady and she didn't miss a beat with the charting. Dr. Park also took his time to answer my questions and concerns. It made me feel empowered and that I have accountability and a partnership to continue caring for my gums and teeth, and I actually look forward to coming back again! :)

These guys are great! Did not feel my novicane injections. They take great care to ensure you are comfortable. Dr. Park is a professional! And his staff are the most down-to-earth and kind staff I have ever encoutered.

I am one of those "dental phobe" patients who had gone many years without regular dental care. It wasn't until a cracked tooth got my attention in a hurry, that I made the decision to stop being such a chicken and go! I contacted Dr. Park through his website on a Saturday evening, and he personally emailed me back on Sunday morning to see if I needed to be sent to an emergency dental care clinic or if I wanted to wait until Monday morning. I opted to wait until Monday and his assistant Lindsey called me right after they opened and got me in later that morning. Ultimately, I had to be referred to an oral surgeon to have the tooth extracted, but once things were healed, I had my first official appointment in their office for a long overdue cleaning. Robin, the dental hygienist, was absolutely wonderful, and she was extremely thorough and got the job done without pain. Dr. Park was very kind and discussed options for filling in the space from the extraction. No judgements, just compassionate and thorough care :) I would highly recommend Dr. Park and his wonderful staff!

I have been a patient of Dr. Park's for about a year now. I stayed with this office on SW Westgate Drive in Portland as Dr. Park took over from Dr. Norm Matschek's practice after his retirement. I drive about 40 minutes each way for my dental appointments but I am happy with my decision. I have nothing but positive words to write regarding my interactions with Dr. Park and his staff. The care and expertise that is given to me whether it is a routine cleaning or investigating the cause for my tooth sensitivity is appreciated. I am encouraged to be an active participant in my oral health care. I have been given great advice as well as tools to take care of my teeth between appointments. I actually look forward to my dental appointments! I have been impressed by the professionalism displayed by all - office staff to hygienists to Dr. Park. On one occasion, I lost my car keys somewhere in the building and the office staff and Dr. Park allowed me to not only use their telephone but actively helped me to eventually locate them in the bathroom on the 3rd floor. I really felt their compassionate care and concern even then...great people, great care!

Dr. Park and his crew have been taking great care of my oral health for well over a year now. His dental practice is compassionate, professional, and concise. Everyone at the office is nice and kind. Most importantly I feel, they do not judge me for bad habits (chewing my cheek, not flossing regularly, etc.). This supportive group is more than willing to share their deep knowledge of oral hygiene to patients curious about knowing more.

Dr. Park and his staff are truly the best. It's a small practice and you are treated as such. I usually have high expectations that I feel are never met when it comes to doctors or services. Our family of 4 all see Dr. Park including our 2 young daughters. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him as your Dentist. Dr. Park and his staff are friendly and even send christmas cards just like the good ole days! They are flexible in working w/ you with billing and are reasonable in cost. He will never take drastic measures or perform unnecessary services. I hope you and your family will give him a chance.

Three things you should look for in a dentist: 1. A commitment to top-notch dental treatment and restorations. 2. Willing to take the time to give you thoughtful, helpful advice. 3. Isn't looking in your mouth for a way to make their next boat payment! Dr. Park has all three. I was a bit concerned that I would miss my old dentist when I received the news that he was retiring and Dr. Park would be taking the helm at the Westgate practice, but all is well. Especially my teeth! I had been putting off a dental implant on an old, dead tooth (which had been through an auto accident and three root canals - ouch!). Dr. Park worked with my oral Surgeon (Dr. Rodich in West Linn, who is also excellent) and turned my crummiest tooth into my nicest tooth! Now I can smile again. Thank you, Dr. Park.
