For more than twenty years, Dr. Marvin Winter has provided state-of-the-art dental care in Decatur, Emory, and the area of Atlanta. He reliably serves the dental needs of families, business professionals, and medical personnel, and does so with thorough attention to detail and a patient-first focus.
Dr. Winter completed his Emory University Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984 and his general practice residency in 1985. He served as a full-time faculty member at the Emory School of Dentistry, providing leadership and key skills in various roles, including Assistant Professor of the General Practice program. In 1992, he moved from academia to private practice, opening his dental office in downtown Decatur. He has practiced general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry at the same location since.
Dr. Winter enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly. They are proud parents of one child. Dr. Winter is very active outside of his Decatur dental practice, and particularly enjoys outdoor sports such as baseball, camping, hiking, and fishing.
