My passion for orthodontics began when I was a skinny little middle schooler growing up in New York City. With teeth growing out of my ears, it was safe to say that I needed braces and it was from that point on that I knew I would be an orthodontist. I remember following my doctors hands, fascinated in how the whole process worked. In my fascination, I overlooked the immense impact my treatment had on my smile and expression of my overall happiness.

I graduated from Cornell University, a large Ivy League school in Upstate New York, and it was there where my passion for science and medicine truly began. After graduating from Cornell University, I was fortunate enough to pursue a medically intense program at Columbia Universitys College of Dental Medicine. During my time at Columbia, I served as the National President of the Student National Dental Association, an organization dedicated to the improving access to oral health services in predominately underserved communities. For my efforts, I was recognized by Ebony Magazine as one of the nations 30 Top Young Leaders Under the age of 30.

Here at One20Fifth Braces, I bring more than ten years of experience in my craft, but most importantly, I have the opportunity to use my passion for orthodontics as a means to make you smile one extra time each day.
