Dr Steve Ball graduated from Honaker High School in 1975. He attended college at Virginia Tech where he graduated in 1979 with Honors, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. Dr Ball continued his education at Virginia Commonwealth Universityand the Medical College of Virginia, graduating once again with Honors in 1982 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Once Dr Ball had completed his training, he returned back to his home town and has been practicing here since July 1982. He is married to his lovely wife Annie and they have been blessed with 3 sons; Thad, Tyler and Jordan.
Hello, I am Cheryl Bostic. As a high school graduate of Council High Cobras, I cheered against my boss Dr. Ball; however, now as his assistant for 37 years, I 'm now cheering for him on a daily basis! Here at Dr. Steve Ball 's Dentistry, I take pride in providing care for patients each and every day, and look forward to continuing my work. In addition to an incredible job, I 'm also very blessed with two children, four grandchildren and a church family at 'The Primitive Baptist Church.'
Our hygienist, Jamie Campbell, received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from ETSU in 1999 and then continued her education in 2009 receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) from ETSU. Jamie has been with the practice since 2017. She enjoys developing relationships with her patients and looks forward to helping them achieve the best in oral hygiene. Jamie is a native of Russell County, a graduate of Honaker High School and lives in Rosedale with her husband Robert and two children, Mitchell and Natalie.
I am Cheylynna Hess. I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2001. I love working in the town where I live. My favorite part of this job has been getting to know the amazing patients. I love seeing patients that I know personally or know their families. I hope to offer patients a relaxed environment where we together can improve their oral health. I am married to Jeff Hess and we have two daughters, Larcyn and Kedryn. They attend Honaker High School. Most of my free time is spent watching my girls play volleyball or enjoying the outdoor recreation our beautiful area has to offer.
Hello, I am Jennifer Keene. I graduated Wytheville Community College in 2017 with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I loved going to the dentist as a young child and always knew I wanted to become a hygienist. I strive to make my patients feel the way I did growing up with a fun and comfortable environment. I feel very blessed to be able to work in my hometown with wonderful co-workers and Dr. Ball who truly care about the patients. Currently I am employed part-time thanks to my husband, David. My days off are spent chasing around our son, Trenton. I love what I do and look forward to many more years of helping my patients achieve a healthy smile.

Steve is the best dentist around I recommend him for everyone with dental needs. My teeth were a wreck they looked horrible and he gave me my smile back. He excepted my insurance and worked with me a little at a time because I couldn't afford to have everything done all at once. My husband had a tooth ache and had called all the dentists he could think of and no one would get him in to have his tooth pulled and I called Steve and he worked him in the same day. He is the best dentist he honestly worked a miracle for my teeth they look wonderful now! And my 13 year old daughter also loved goin to him so he is great with the whole family.

Awesome dentist! Had a tooth extracted that I had previously had a dentist in ohio attempt to extract. He had no issues like she did, I was numb with the first shot and he had it out before I ever knew! Amazing staff also. Very nice and courteous.
