Dr Simpson DDS is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry. While attending NYU he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and was awarded the senior prosthodontics award. After graduation from NYU, Dr Simpson attended a general practice residency at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital in New York, NY. After completion of the VA Hospital residency, Dr Simpson returned to NYU College of Dentistry for specialty training in endodontics. After receiving his specialty certification in endodontics, Dr Simpson made his home in the Bergen county area. He has practiced in Bergen County for several years and has gained a reputation as an ethical and professional endodontist.

RUN AWAY. Absolutely the most unprofessional office I have ever been in. First had an appointment on Friday which they called and canceled saying and I qoute "Dr. Simpson forgot he had an emergency" was rescheduled for today at 10:30. (Now backstory my dentist referred me and spoke with Dr. Simpson about my needing 2 root canals, I have been in great pain for over a week. I usually need deep sedation but was desperate for the pain to end so agreed to just get it done. They called me in an antibiotic and pain meds to get me through the weekend) So I drive over 1 1/2 hours to this recommend "Endodontist Specialist " and upon arriving the front desk girl acts very apprehensive...like we were there to rob the place. She first asked "Who are you??" Spelled name twice, asked if it was about root canals we answered yes than she said "Oh that was just for a consultation"and next breath she said we had no appointment. What?? Which is it?? Chaotic to say the least. Can I also add there was ZERO PATIENTS in any of the rooms or waiting area. ZERO. The confused and befuddled receptionist got Dr. Simpson, he came out, neither introduced himself or offered a handshake or advice or at least an xray to see what I have going on....he just stated "You have no appointment and I don't sedate here" Completely unfeeling or uncaring that we drove so far for Absolutely Nothing. (Again can we address ZERO PATIENTS anywhere in his tiny office) Good Luck if you end up in that place...literally was a Twilight Zone experience. Like my wife said, "Sounds like you dodged a bullet, imagine if he did work on you?!"

Surprised to see bad reviews here. Dr Simpson is beyond professional. Painless procedure, friendly staff, and most importantly a clean office. Dr Simpson is a master of his work!

I had the best experience with Dr. Simpson! I had my first root canal and he not only calmed me down, but explained what he was doing and why. I also freak out with the novocaine and I didn't even feel the needle. He was so gentle and I don't think I can say enough great things about my experience! I also had no pain following the procedure which I was so happy about! GREAT ENDODONTIST AND I CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! Thank you for the greatest experience and making me not hate getting work done on my teeth :)

I believe Dr.Simpson convinced me and did root canal for a tooth that was not giving any pain to me. It didn't help me with the trouble I was going through, in fact it only worsen the situation, as the right treatment was delayed. Another thing I noticed along with the registration forms, I was asked to sign consent for root canal, that made me to think costly treatment was decided before doctor seeing me, as I have very good insurance plan benefit.

I was referred to Dr. Simpson who is claimed to be endodontist for re-do of a root canal (that didn't' bother). Dr. Simpson "skillfully" destroyed an otherwise perfect root canal that didn't bother me for years and created a fracture in the tooth resulting in infection and bone loss. I had to go through oral surgery after suffering from pain for months. Stay away.

The best dental experience I've ever had!! I had a root canal today. Dr. Simpson was amazing. I left the office with no numbness, I could talk, and I did not have a bad taste in my mouth. I never once felt debris in my mouth during the procedure. I left his office with no feeling that I just had a dental procedure. I went home afterwards and took 2 advil for some discomfort and that's it. Wow!! What a great experience!! I highly recommend Dr. Simpson!!
