Dr. Martinez-Lujan was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico where she was certified as a Dental Lab Technician in 1993. In 1994 she moved to the USA and did her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico. After graduating from dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2004 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she chose to establish her practice in Albuquerque. Dr. Marifer is an active member of The American Dental Association, New Mexico Dental Association, the Albuquerque Dental District, Academy of General Dentistry and Spear Dental Club. Dr. Marifer feels it is important to stay current with new technology and materials that will provide her patients with the best care possible.
Dr. Martinez-Lujan participates in a program that treats the underserved in New Mexico. She donates time and services in her office to those prequalified through the New Mexico Dental Foundation. Dr. Martinez-Lujan and her staff also donate services at the New Mexico Mission of Mercy where dental services are provided for children and adults who cannot afford dental care.
Cheryl is from Albuquerque,NM. She graduated from UNM, and has worked in the dental field for over 25 years. She has been with this practice for over 18 years. Attention to detail shows in everything she does. While working as a Hygienist, she earned her degree in accounting, allowing her to serve both as a hygienist and practice manager.
Cathy grew up in Hobbs, NM. She graduated from UNM dental hygiene program. She has been with this practice for 20 years. Her fun, loving and caring demeanor allows her to see beyond the patient and treat you as if you were a family or friend.
Renee has been in the dental field since 1996. While being the newest member to our team, her experience has made her role key to our success. Renee helps with financial estimates and processing insurance. She really enjoys working with the public and making our patients feel welcome and treating them with the utmost respect. Renee is married to her husband Robert. They have two sons and two grandkids. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs hiking and camping.
