Dr. Marian Yassa is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, where she earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Neuroscience. She then further advanced to the School of Dentistry, where she graduated with her dental degree. She continued her education by attending the General Practice Residency program at the Sepulveda Veterans Hospital in California. Dr. Yassa has been professionally practicing dentistry since and enjoys every day of it.
We go to dental school to learn how to perform dentistry the right way, then we graduate and realize that few ever practice that way. Dr. Yassa strives to remain active and educated in the ever-advancing field of dentistry.
She is easy to talk to and is empathetic to her patients, but she is also one of the finest dentists you can choose. In this way, she combines an approachable demeanor with trustworthy professionalism.
Whether you are a family member or not, she will treat you as if she is working on her mother, father, sister, brother, son, or daughter. Dr. Yassa understands that going to the dentist can create a great deal of anxiety for many people, so she goes out of her way to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
When you walk through our doors at Encino Family Dental, you will not feel like you are walking into a dental office. We go out of our way to make you feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Our tranquil atmosphere will put you at ease, and we will do whatever we can to make your experience as positive and relaxed as possible.
If we can offer you a bottle of water or a cup of tea or coffee, we will be glad to. If you want to watch a movie or listen to music while youre here, take your pick, because weve got it. We take pride not only in making sure your stay is as pleasant as possible, but we also want to make sure you leave happy.
In addition, here at Encino Family Dental, we do not offer anything less than the newest technology and a state of the art facility. We want to make your dental experience as convenient as possible, so we will provide comprehensive plans and treatment for all your general and specialty needs right here in our office whenever possible.
There are no shortcuts to good dentistry. We are a full-service facility that caters to you and your entire family, and our goal is to build long-term relationships with our patients. I have 3 kids, 18, 16 and 12 who ONLY trust and request Dr. Yassa. The staff treat us like family, and honestly fell asleep on the sofa once while waiting for the kids to finish. Dr. Yassa has been nothing but professional, caring, great at her job but mostly honest.

Dr. Marian Yassa performs high quality dental work. She recently replaced the caps on my two front teeth which had been there for over 20 years as a result of a childhood accident. After 20 years, my caps and my childhood dentist (who is long gone) have sentimental value. Dr. Yassa is extremely trustworthy so much so that I took a leap of faith to allow her to upgrade my teeth. They look beautiful. It is nice to have a trustworthy dentist who cares about the patient above the business.

I highly recommend Dr. Yassa for everyone in your family. My children and I all see her regularly for teeth cleanings, check ups, and any work that needs to be done. My youngest daughter started to see Dr. Yassa when she was 18 months old, and now my kids are 6 and 9 years old. Dr. Yassa and everyone on her staff is honest, kind, and reliable. They somehow make an experience that has potential to be daunting or painful into a pleasant experience every time!

I have been with Dr. Yassa for years now. She is gentle and very caring. My son is also a patient, he didn't have good experiences with other dentists, but she definitely was an exception! I couldn't be happier with Dr. Yassa, thank you for this fantastic experience...:)

Our family dentist recently retired and I put off finding a new dentist for months because I thought it would be impossible to find a dentist who was as kind, patient and competent as our previous dentist, but then I found Dr. Yassa. She is very personable but also professional. Our whole family now sees her regularly. My husband, our four kids and I have all been very satisfied with our experiences. Dr. Yassa takes time throughout the exam to explain what she sees as well as provide treatment options based on her experience. Highly recommend!
