For over 16 years, Dr. Maria R. Lopez-Galan, DDS. PA. has faithfully served the Coral Gables community. She has taken dentistry to the level of service with love. When you are in pain, it is usually difficult to focus on anything, however Dr. Lopez-Galan and her team have gone above and beyond to create the perfect atmosphere for your treatment. We believe that our patients deserve to be pampered especially if they are in pain, so even our music is well thought out (Bossa Nova or some other soothing music is usually being played). Also, and most importantly high sterilization standards, cutting-edge technology and the best quality service are always top priorities at our office.
Dr. Maria R. Lopez-Galan specializes in creating beautiful smiles, maintaining your oral hygiene, and helping you improve your overall appearance and confidence since graduating from University of Florida in 1992 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
She is dedicated to offering the best to her patients and so she sets aside time for continuing education on a yearly basis. She has done postgraduate studies such as Esthetic Dentistry, Invisalign, BriteSmile and Laser Certification, among many others. Her postdoctoral training were done at institutions such as University of Florida College of Dentistry, Nova Southeastern Dental School, Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Lopez-Galan has been at her current office since 1998 and works along with a very competent and highly skilled team of professionals including dental hygienists, certified clinical assistants and administrative personnel. Together, they treat all patients using the finest and best techniques.
She is a registered Dental Hygienist with 15 years of experience, currently seeking a Bachelors Degree in Biology. Martha loves what she does and patient education is her concern because Your smile goes a long way.

I have to say I am pretty disappointed in this office. I have been going to them for years and my boyfriend recommended them to me over 5 years ago. I was told I needed to do a deep cleaning and they would check with my insurance to provide coverage. I was in the office and they said my insurance company as covering half and I would need to pay $295 as they didn't cover all. I got half of my mouth cleaned and was told to come next week to get the other half. When I went to go pay they then told me it's $295 for half and need to pay $295 for the other half. Had I known it was going to be $600 to get a cleaning I would've decided against it. Sick of the sales pitch the moment you sit and told them I was even feeling dizzy as they were all over me offering me a million different things and I said well I want to take your suggestions but need to know the cost. I don't like to be on the defense as if I were in the lot of a used car sales lot, I don't even understand why they would even mention $295 as if you would only get half your mouth cleaned? Lol. Sorry but that's poor and sketchy sales pitch. Ladies in the office are usually nice and helpful but this made me extremely weary and now I can't go back because this experience was so bad I feel taken advantage of and this sucks because now I just threw away $295 and half my mouth hasn't been cleaned. Very sketchy and not professional at all.

Look no more, best dentist in Miami. Very gentle touch, sensible approach and good criteria, Respectful of patients opinion, budget and time! I have sent her many friends and relatives, they never go back to their old dentist!
