Dr. Maria Faklaris is dedicated to making a difference in her patients lives by providing exemplary dental care. She knows that it takes more than just good technique to be a great dentist it takes commitment, understanding, and most importantly, a genuine interest in patient health and safety.
Dr. Maria Faklaris graduated in 1986 from Loyola University, in Chicago, IL. That same year, she opened her practice in Park Ridge. Her practice has been focused on aesthetic dentistry and the art of smile-making since its inception. Dr. Maria Faklaris has extensive training in cosmetics, restorative, and family dentistry. Before studying dentistry, Dr. Faklaris, completed a degree in Biology.
Laura takes continuing education courses annually to keep on top of the latest developments that dentistry has to offer. She is certified in local anesthetics, fissure sealants, periodontal root debridement, and digital x-rays.
When Laura isnt cleaning teeth, she likes to spend time with her daughters and husband, work out, and walk her dogs. One of her future goals is to eventually teach Dental Hygiene to other eager individuals like herself.

Dr. Faklaris Is an outstanding dentist. One of the kindest and most compassionate dentist I have ever met. You will feel very comfortable in her chair and she does not do any unnecessary procedures or charge you extra unless it absolutely needs to be done. You can trust her and her staff.

I have been a life-long patient of Dr. Faklaris and I just cannot say enough nice things. My husband, our two children, my mother, my brother, and some of our closest friends now go to her as well. Sorry it took me 32 years to write this review! Lol.

I have been a patient here for at least 15 years. Dr Faklaris has taken great care of my families dental needs. Dr. Faklaris has always been available for emergencies. She is up to date with current treatments, but never tries to sell you extras. She is very good with my kids, and was since day 1, making sure their dental experiences are positive.
