I have been a Financial Coordinator for five years in the dental field, prior to that I worked in the medical field as Revenue Cycle Liaison and a medical Tagalog Interpreter as well. Hey there, my name is Heather and I love being a Registered Dental Assistant. I am a 90 's kid, who grew up quick with a love for animals, rock, country, and our nation 's military. I 've traveled to 25 states and lived in 5, but call Louisiana 'home'. My fascination with Orthodontics began in 2001 when I learned of my own dentition and what the term 'impaction' means. Over the last 6 years I have learned from wonderfully talented doctors, and continue to learn from Dr. K every day. When the opportunity of being a lab technician presented itself, I could not pass it up. One of my favorite jobs as an assistant is making appliances, such as expanders and retainers. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Karkhanechi in her other office for more than 15 years. She is great and passionate in all that she does. I am so happy to be able to join her awesome team here at San Ramon Orthodontics. Other than Ortho, I also have 17 plus years of experience working in pedodontics. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and I love helping them achieve their new smiles. When I am not working, I truly enjoy spending time with my family. Dr. Lachica and her staff literally gave me the confidence to smile. I'm an adult patient who, until 3 years ago, had quite crooked teeth. Not too serious but enough that there are no photos of me smiling until I sought InvisAlign treatment. I was shy and conscious about my teeth but Dr. Lachica and staff were incredibly helpful through the entire treatment plan. I was given in-depth treatment options, realistic expectations, up front costs, etc. I went into my treatment with no surprises and more support than I expected. Throughout my treatment (which was extensive), the staff has always gone above expectations in being attentive and friendly. Near everyone from the front reception staff to the ortho staff remember me, my lame jokes, recent travels, and career field. I never left an appointment not knowing the next step in my treatment. If you're on the fence or just want to look at options about having a better smile, do yourself a service and at least get a consultation with Lachica Orthodontics. I simply cannot express how grateful I am to be given the ability to smile with confidence. It's something most folks take for granted.

Dr. Lachica is a great orthodontist, I went in for Invisalign she really keeps you informed and involved during the whole treatment process. The office staff is so friendly , it is a fun environment and I always leave laughing . I travel alot for work and they are so flexible when it comes to making appointments. I have referred family and would definitely recommend that anybody who wants a wonderful experience to come to Dr. Lachica.

Dr.Lachica's Orthodontics office is very welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk into the waiting area through the moment you finish your appointment. Exceptionally clean, new equipment throughout, and family friendly as well. You could spend months checking out different orthodontist offices and not come across someone with Dr.Lachica's experience, passion, and genuine desire to give you your best smile. If you're anywhere in the San Ramon/Tri Valley area, you'd be hard pressed to find a better Orthodontist.

As a parent we all know handing your kids over to someone takes trust. I had met Dr. Lachica outside of her practice and after getting to know her I was comfortable she we be a good fit for my daughter. We live in Pleasant Hill and though it is not that far traffic can take its tool. My decision to go with Dr. Lachica and her team paid off, my daughter has some issues with her teeth and their short roots. If it wasn't for Dr. Lachica's attention to detail we could have had a very bad outcome from her treatment. It is not only her technical ability I like but the way the whole staff works hard to make my daughter feel at ease, during what can be a scary time for kids, that is why I cant recommend the office enough.

Dr. Lachica is a top-tier orthodontist in a class of her own. Her warm and welcoming office is a fantastic place to get any orthodontic work done. First and foremost the quality of Dr. Lachica's work is second to none. She is really good at making sure that you feel safe and that the job gets done quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, her staff is warm, dedicated, and caring. Whenever I go they are always smiling and in a good mood. However the most striking thing about Dr. Lachica is her communication skills. Whenever I go to her office I notice that everyone listens to her attentively because she speaks to you in a joyful but slightly serious manner that will get any child to listen. Furthermore when I had an issue with my retainer she gave me her personal number and went out of her way to help me while she was taking care of her own daughter! I would recommend my closest family members to her because at the end of the day, she is very trustworthy and simply a great orthodontist.

We live in the area and researched 4-5 orthodontics and ultimately decided upon Dr. Lachica. The deciding factors were her impressive education and service to the United States, but most importantly was her approach to our daughter as an individual case. Other orthodontics were competent, however, they didn't seem as interested in our daughter's unique needs. In other words, Dr. Lachica consulted us further and devised potential solutions with associated pros and cons. This builds trust. In addition, she is the orthodontic for other members of the family and the experience has been fantastic with Dr. Lachica and with her staff. Everyone is knowledgeable, responsive, patient-focused and fun.

My wife has now been going to Dr Lachica for her Invisalign and her care is awesome. Now the 3rd family member to be a patient of Dr Lachica who is simply the very best care and results for Ortho hands down. Both my kids turned out great and so many of my neighbors have shared the same results. Not only a great practitioner but a great neighbor and dear friend.

What started as a one daughter getting Invisalign with Dr. Lachica has resulted in a family affair. My husband began his Invisalign treatment, and now my son will be starting this summer! I'm next! Lachica Orthodontics has been incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. Everyone at the office is friendly, patient, and strives for the best outcome. Dr. Lachica wants her patients and their parents to be happy with the results and does an excellent job of explaining the progress of treatment. My family and I are very happy with Lachica Orthodontics, and I personally look forward to the warm cup of coffee I'm treated to at every visit. :-)
