My dentist recommend me to the office. I called to make an appointment and the office staff was less than friendly. I only called twice, and the second was to change my appointment. I was rushed off the phone and they did not have any answers to my questions on what to expect I should pay out of pocket. The staff were only focused getting me on the books. I have asked me dentist to recommended another office.

Dr. Castro and his staff are the absolute best! Dr. Castro talks you through everything he is doing. His staff gives detailed post op instructions and they even call to check up on you after the procedure. I recommend Dr. Castro to anyone for the periodontal needs!

The experience I had at this office was like no other. Everything from check-in to check-out was amazing! The receptionist was very helpful in helping me understand how billing works. The dental assistant was very personable and engaging. Dr. Castro was overly amazing! He put my mind at ease and fear to rest with explaining the process and then asking if I wanted to have the services done at that time, not just assuming. Asking me placed the control of my care back in my hands. He didn't make me feel ashamed of having anxiety he helped calm them instead. There is so much I could say about this office but you should see it for yourself!!! All dentists and doctors in every field could learn from the exceptional patient care this office provides.

I have never been to a periondontist before and was terrified as I had to get a bit of gum surgery. Dr. Castro and his assistant were just wonderful! Not only did I experience no pain, I barely even felt the shots that he gave to numb me. I can't recommend this doctor highly enough. Five stars all the way.

Great experience except for the front receptionist, Mamory. Doctors have a great bedside manner but receptionist doesn't know how to properly talk to patients and family. The patient I came with to support told me about her multiple times and how she can come off but I got to experience this for myself. Coming from someone who worked process improvement in hospitals, I would recommend training for her in order to discuss difficult conversations or funding options. She also forgets to include info about discounts that the patient was eligible for. And if you have questions, ask, no matter how snappy she may get.

This is a great office. Dr Castro took time to explain everything to me. My procedure was painless. His staff is very nice. The assistant spent alot of time with me explaining aftercare instructions. It was my first visit and I forgot my dental insurance card. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to call my dentist office and get all my information. I would recommend Dr Castro to my family and friends. Someone even called me the next day to ask how I was.

Dr. Castro is wonderful. He explains the procedure beforehand and all the way through. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He even came in day the office was closed because I was in pain....and had his assistant come in too. I can't say enough about him and would highly recommend him. I went to him twenty years ago and felt the same way; my Mother now goes to him and feels the same way!

I had severe gum recession in the front lower part of my mouth. Dr. Castro is very patient and kind and answered all of my questions about having graft surgery. During the surgery, he was very gentle and explained what he was doing. I had no pain during surgery. Dr. Castro and his excellent staff gave me great home instructions and nutritional information for healing quickly. I did not get any infection (keep your mouth as clean as possible between meals). The discomfort was very minimal; advil or tylenol took care of it. Please don't wait years to have this surgery as I did (I was afraid)! I feel very lucky to have had Dr Castro and his kind staff take care of me and save my lower teeth. Cleveland area is super lucky to have this great doctor and his staff.

I went in for a consultation with Dr Castro. He spent more time telling me about his mother's dog walker( how she comes twice a day, sends Dr. Castro texts so he knows his mom is safe, etc) than he did answering my questions. He left the room before I was done with my questions and told me his assistant would answer any more questions I had. Her answer was repeatedly to tell me that Dr Castro could answer them on procedure day. I paid $130 for a consult why? Total waste of time and money. Why would I schedule a procedure with someone who couldn't even handle a proper consultation? I scheduled the procedure at Dr. Frankel's practice instead, he was very thorough.

I first visited dr. castro because of dr nancy arndt. she swore by him. He is quite competent and has a wonderful bedside manner. his staff is very pleasant, as well.
