Extremely friendly and considerate staff, knowledgeable and amiable dentist, willing to work with you with whatever the issue may be, offers conscious sedation for more cringe-worthy procedures, and you can't beat the view from the chairs to the Deschutes!

Hands down best dentist in town, very honest, staff are very polite and helpful. I had an infection and they squeezed me in that day when they were really busy. It swelled again on Sunday and I called Dr. Nordstrom and he met me at his practice within an hour. Very gentle and nice I highly recommend them to anybody!

First and foremost, Dr. Nordstrom has a great staff, no complaints about them. A little more than a year ago Dr. Nordstrom put 2 crowns in with temporary cement. I asked a lot of questions about what to eat, drink, etc., as one would. A few hours later I was sitting in the Redmond airport, drinking water, and one of them fell out!! Underneath is exposed nerve, which caused a lot of pain. Panicking, I used the family restroom so I could apply the temporary cement and put the tooth back in. As I put the tooth back in, the OTHER ONE FELL OUT! I had to make an emergency dentist appointment for a different dentist in the state I was traveling to. They did take care of paying for my trip to this out-of-state dentist, which is the right thing to do. I figured it was a one-time thing until the work I got done 7 weeks ago. I went in for a routine cleaning and was told that one of my old fillings needed to be replaced. No biggie, I made an appointment to come back in and get it taken care of. The filling gets replaced but feels different. For the next 5 weeks following, I was unable (still unable) to chew on that side. Any time pressure is applied, it aches. I called in and made an appointment to have it looked at. Dr. Nordstrom says that my bite is a bit off and takes corrective action to the filling. I'm assured that everything should be better from here on out and if there's still pain after 2 weeks, call again. Well, 2 1/2 weeks later and I still can't chew on that side. I make another appointment. Dr. Nordstrom says that there's inflammation and I'll likely need a root canal, here's a referral to an endodontist. He said that 80% of the time, there's no issue but in my case, it's an issue. I've had fillings replaced in the past, crowns put in and have NEVER run into so many issues with dental work. When I expressed my frustration, I was given a list of reasons, no ownership of mistakes made by his work. Now, I'll likely have to get a root canal on a tooth that I never had any issues to begin with. Get a filling replaced, pay for it, then need to get a root canal after the fact? Seems legit. If you want to get your teeth cleaned, they have really cool views of the river but if you're looking for any additional work, I would definitely look elsewhere.

Patient and compassionate, and you never feel like you're getting an "upsell" on dental services, which seems to be too common these days. Highly recommended for individuals and families.

After the V. A. over the years destroyed my bite alignment, I went to Dr. Nordstrom. It has taken three years to straighten it out. He advocated for me, to get the V.A. to pay the bills. They refused to pay for an implant that was needed as part of a bridge. Because I am a 100% disabled veteran, he took pity on me! He put the bridge in ,with the implant anyway. He didn't charge for the implant! HE IS A GREAT DENTIST AND A GREAT GUY!!

Many people talk about their past dental horror stories, and I've had my share. Dr. Nordstrom is my savoir when it comes to dental medicine. He has been taking care of me for a few years now and I fear the day he retires because I never want to see anyone else!!! He is kind and gentle and LISTENS to his patients. If I say it is painful he will stop and make sure that I am completely numb instead of just ignoring my pain and trucking on. This has happened to me numerous times I have seen other dentists. They actually tell me that MY pain isn't real. i.e. "You can't be in pain I already numbed you" and then zzzzzzzz on with the drill. Dr. Nordstrom is the most compassionate dentist and treats his patients very well!

I love my dentist! I recently needed a crown done and when i had to get numb (my least favorite part) he has a machine that delivers the anesthetic at a rate where it was PAINLESS! The assistant and doctor checked in several times during the procedure to make sure i was doing ok, which made me feel at ease. They make all their crowns in office, so a ceramist came up to take a custom shade and make sure the color blended in with the rest of the teeth. He does a great job and is very gentle. Whenever i come in for a cleaning or to see the doctor Im seated right upon my arrival. The office is located right on mirror pond, where you can see ducks, birds and wildlife
