I chose the field due to its vast array of solutions in reconstruction and facial cosmetics. The ability to change ones appearance from intra-oral to extra-oral is amazing and life changing. I choose this area of expertise with the intention to join the military and provide a service both abroad and at home. I enjoy interacting with patients and addressing their concerns. Seeing their outward personality changes is gratifying for me, and life-changing for them.

South Houston Oral,Facial & Implant Surgery Center - Oral surgeon in Pearland, TX

Very compassionate Dr. And staff. Painless procedure. Staff was very helpful assisting me to my car. I have been to other doctors and Painmanagement offices that told me you are on your own getting to your car. Thank you very much.

I was waiting to write this review to see how my recovery went. It's well overdue! Dr Craig removed all four of my wisdom teeth. After the consultation, he was able to see me shortly after. I just want to point out that I was very afraid, and he was very polite, answered all my questions, and I had no issues with recovery. He was straight to the point and I'm glad he took care of me. Great job!

Dear Dr. Luis T. Craig, DMD I'm writing this review directly to you because no other doctor (in any Field) has made me feel as safe, secure, and professionally provided for in your care as you have. Before finding you, I did a ton of research and what made me choose you was how people said how good of a surgeon you are. When I had my first consult with you, I picked up on your personality very quickly. You're straight forward, stern, very direct, and some people may take that uneasily but I took it as (this man knows what he's doing). I have men in my family with your demeanor so i know it well, and after our consult I asked your nurses how well they enjoy working with you and they spent the next 10 mins praising how great of a boss you are and how big your heart is and these were vibes I picked up from you in our interaction. In addition I learned many other things about you as a doctor that made me decide that I will continue to come to you for my dentist needs even before you had the chance To remove my wisdoms. During consult, You told me I had 5 impacted wisdoms. You explained that one of my wisdoms were growing on top of another, and one would be a complicated Extraxtion because it was pinching a nerve. You gave me a clear explanation of the complications and risks of the surgery and told me how to prepare for the surgery that took place today. Well Dr. Craig, I was STILL a nervous wreck (anxiety), and when I showed up this morning for my surgery, I asked you if there would be any harm in letting the wisdom that was pinching a nerve stay. I feared that my lip would get paralyzed (a risk I faced due to that particular tooth and the angle it was growing). You assured me that it needed to be pulled because impacted teeth hold greater risks of causing bigger problems later in life such as growing tumors. You gave me meds to relax my anxiety, and let it marinate for a good 15 mins or More. I was taken back to the back in a wheel chair and we even cracked a few jokes about how good those meds were. Once the IV Was in my arm, I literally felt like I was being wheeling back out and being put in the car. You told my partner I wouldn't remember a thing, and you're right, I remember NOTHIN ELSE. It's now 5:20pm (surgery was around 8am, and lasted only 50 min). I felt miserable at first. Headache, aches in my jaw, numbness, drowsiness. (Typical but definitely wouldn't pay to go through again lol) But now, I feel tons better. Just some soreness on that corner of the jaw where I believe was my worst impacted tooth. I believe you are an awesome doctor Dr. Craig, and my experience has been so TOP TIER with you, that I want others to know that if they choose you, they will most definitely be in good hands. Thank you!!!!

Dr. Craig successfully removed my bottom two wisdom teeth. This was my first experience with oral surgery and he was, attentive, thorough, communicative, detailed, and professional. He walked me through what to expect during and after surgery so there would be no suprises. He advised my husband on what to expect since he'd be taking care of me. He called me a few days after surgery to assess my pain and swelling. I'd highly recommend his professional practice.

Dr. Craig is so professional AND gentle. I didn't even feel the IV when I was sedated. I will be forever thankful to him and his staff for making my wisdom tooth extraction an easy experience, especially as someone who hates going to the dentist. 10/10 would recommend.

Staff need more professional skills. Asking for social security from my son even he is not a primary in my insurance. Just for a consultation ? Won't do appointment and insist to get my social security ? Didn't feel comfortable with that. Will go Somewhere else. Staff were rude.

Agree, exceptional bedside manner. Listens very well. He is very professional and so is his staff. He is the only doctor who has been able to give me relief from my TMD pain. I really like him and trust him. I really appreciate the way I was treated at all of my visits. Everyone was very attentive to making sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Thank you.

Wife was denied service. She is a frontline worker and has worked on COVID patients. She explained to dr she is not sick and has used proper ppe when dealing with COVID-19 patients. Wife has a bone protruding through gums that is cutting her tongue. Dr Craig said it wasn't an emergency even though wife is in pain. Dr Craig stated she could flick the bone out, it needs to be surgically removed and offered to give mouthwash. Furthermore staff wanted to know what wife drove as if our vehicle would give there vehicle COVID-19. We will not be seeking services from this location. Not happy with the way wife was treated. When frontline workers need services they are denied.

Wanting to sing Dr Craig's praises again as I have had my third child's wisdom teeth extracted, months ago Apparently I take for granted how wonderful this practice. I just went on my way forgetting to appreciate their skill, professionalism and how blessed we where to have come across his practice 2 years ago, when I had my other two kids wisdom teeth extracted. Dr Craig never ceases to amaze me with his exceptional bedside, comes to waiting room to greet me and answer any questions, assured my son was comfortable and ready to proceed and followed up the next day by making the call himself to assure my son was doing well. Being a nurse for 26 years, I know this is not the norm. I can't say enough good things about this exceptional Dr and his fabulous practice!!!
