Dr. Lou is truly the very best! I've had to have several root canals over the years, and when I first came to this practice - I saw Dr. Dominick - Dr. Louis Shoha's father (since retired). Now I entrust all my endodontic needs and care to Dr. Lou. He is laser focused in his work, brilliant and informed and helps put you at ease with his confidence, chair-side manner, impeccable skill - and kind nature. And he Listens carefully to all concerns, addressing each thoughtfully. When and if I need another root canal (hopefully never) ~ I have no fear, as I completely trust Dr. Lou to take care of it. He is a blessing.

I never do reviews but I have to submit one for Dr. Louis Shoha. Yesterday my dentist sent me for an emergency consult for pain in my back molar--- mainly to determine if I needed a root canal :( With this being my first serious issue with my teeth I was terrified but Dr. Shoha and his assitant, Amanda, immediately put me at ease. Dr. Shoha walked me though his findings and what he was going to do to save my fractured tooth. He answered all of my questions, even my silly ones...without rushing me. The procedure was completely painless (unlike the horror stories I have heard about root canals) and day two is going well. While I hope I never have to see any endotondist ever again, Dr. Shoha will be my first call if the need arrises.

I hate going to the dentist no matter what's going on. I came in for a root canal and had it with Dr shoha. Honestly there is no reason to be scared, he made sure I couldn't feel any pain and started right away. Total time was about forty minutes if that. I could tell he has a lot of experience practicing. I love the fact he basically showed me on a moniter what was going on and what he was doing. He explained everything as he was doing it to help calm mee down. The following day I got a courtesy call to make sure everything was still ok. Copays have to be paid when you finish so be prepared

Took my husband to see Dr. Shoha for root canal back in October of 2017. He was referred by regular Dentist. He did the root canal three weeks later my husband was still experiencing pain in that tooth . We are over the road truck drivers. So I had to wait until I got back into Michigan. With that being said I call his office to schedule appt. Was giving and appt. In March of 2018 went to see for him to say he was very busy did not have time to fix today it would run into time of other patients . Come back April 2018. So I took my husband back to our regular dentist and the tooth remove after paying him for root canal and when he pull his tooth one root was still in there. I am very dissatisfied with giving him money for nothing.

Whew! It's hard to learn you need root canal therapy - it's either that or lose the poor tooth. I'm glad I saw Dr Shoha! He and his staff are so professional and so kind explaining everything. There are so many variables. My tooth had an extra canal that had calcified, making it harder to do. The six-month check today showed my molar is nicely behaving and holding its own. Thanks, Dr Shoha!

I am terrified of dental procedures and this was my first root canal. I take a holistic and natural approach to most of my health decisions. Dr. Shoah made me so comfortable. I love that he understood my views and offered me care accordingly. I couldn't believe that it was painless!!! I need another root canal, I know right where to turn. I highly recommend this practive to anyone in need of this procedure especially if you have reservations and like a more natural approach.Thank you!
