Originally from the Czech Republic, Angelika has worked as a Patient Coordinator in Dr. LaVecchias office for nearly 20 years ensuring patients receive the highest possible standard of care. She sees Dr. LaVecchia and the patients as members of her family and aims to treat them as such.
Nina is an experienced dental professional who has been in the field for more than eight years. Her background in dentistry ranges from Front Desk Coordinator, Dental Assistant, Marketing Liaison, and Office Manager. Nina is passionateabout helping people and making them smile.
Outside of the office, Nina also works with a local grassroots, women and minority-led non-profit called Me & You, helping students, schools, and families inneed as well as the homeless throughout the DC Metropolitan Area.
Laura is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but moved to Arlington in 2015 when she first joined Dr. LaVecchias team.She started her dental assisting career by taking a Red Cross dental assisting course in Ramstein, Germany while working with the US Air Force.
Monica has over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant, 16 of those working for Dr. LaVecchia! She has a strong bond with the patients after all these years! Monica also is the practice clinical coordinator.
Selam is a certified Dental Assistant who received her training and certification from ACT College in Northern Virginia in 2005. Her decade-long experience, gentle touch, and friendly chairside manner ensure her patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their visit.
Maria is originally from Argentina and moved to the US in 2010. While Maria trained as a general dentist in Argentina she changed course in 2013 while working for Dr. LaVecchia and now focuses on leading the treatment coordination at the practice. Maria utilizes her knowledge and expertise of dental treatments with her passion for patient care and practice management. Maria helps patients understand and navigate their treatment plans.
Janice has known Dr. LaVecchia and Dr. McIntire for over 20 years! Janice has seen first hand the devotion and kindness the doctors bestow upon their patients and this patient-centered philosophy continues to inspire her in her work.
Arlene graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree of Health Sciences in Dental Hygiene in 2011. She has been a part of Dr. Lavecchia's team since she moved here from Virginia Beach in 2016.
Arlene strives to make the patient as comfortable as possible while in the dental chair. Not many people like coming to the dentist, so she wants to make sure the patient has the best experience and has all the knowledge regarding their oral health.
Outside of the office she loves spending time with her husband, Andrew, and her two handsome boys, Andrew Jr. and Ace. She loves to travel and explore the world - eating her way through every city in every country. She also loves hiking and working out to balance all the delicious goodness she eats.
Leni graduated with Honors in 2006 from NVCC with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Prior to practicing as a Dental Hygienist, she worked as a Dental Technician in both Brazil and the US. She is licensed in Virginia and is certified to deliver local anesthesia.
In order to provide the best care for her patients, to stay informed of new technologies and hygiene products, Leni often attends continuing education classes. In addition, she meets with other dental professionals, to discuss creative ways to provide the best patient care available. Her enthusiasm and love for her profession are truly valued by her patients and coworkers.
Dr. Michael McIntire was born and raised in Central California. After graduating from Sacramento State University he moved to the East Coast to attend Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Dr. McIntire has practiced dentistry for 30 years, and having seen It all, he loves patient care more than ever.
Dr. McIntire is passionate about the benefits that good dental care can have on your quality of life. Advantages brought about by innovative technology, superior pain control, and beautiful cosmetic advances make dentistry more exciting than ever. He remains committed to ongoing education and training to ensure that he is up-to-date on the most recent research and techniques available. His most recent training has included dental implantology; treatment and rehabilitation of TMJ/TMD; and Invisalign.
Dr. McIntire is married to Kate, an elementary school teacher in Fairfax County, and is father to Lily 'the apple of his eye.' His other interests are physical fitness, gardening, and coaching Arlington girls ' softball.

Dr. Greg LaVecchia was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended Paul VI High School in Fairfax and then, in 1995, he completed his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, Dr. LaVecchia worked in the Department of Pathology, researching possible treatment modalities for cervical cancer. He has always been interested in promoting health and wellness.
Dr. LaVecchia graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which is widely recognized as being among the top universities in the United States. Established in 1863, it is the second-oldest dental school in continuous existence in the U.S. and has a longstanding tradition of comprehensive curriculum, including both strong academic and clinical training. Dr. LaVecchia maximized his time and learning while at Temple, and he has been devoted to continuing education and training throughout his career. Dr. Greg LaVecchia provides comprehensive dental care in Arlington, Virginia with a special focus on cosmetics, implant dentistry and TMJ treatments.
Dr. Greg LaVecchia lives in Arlington. He is very fortunate that his entire immediate family lives in the DMV. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, sports and spending time with his wife, daughter, son and their beloved dog, Tito.
I absolutely love this office. The staff are very professional, personable as well as respectful of your time. Dr. LaVecchia is an HONEST dentist and his level of integrity is noticeable. He doesn't recommend procedures that are not in the best interest of his patient, which is huge for this industry.
