Lori is a practicing General Dentist and partner at Drs. Shelton and Gibbons Dental. She was born and raised in Ohio and remained in Cleveland for her undergraduate education. After receiving her B.S. degree at John Carroll University, she attended The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D., followed by a dental residency at the University of Maryland Dental School in 2006.
Lori has practiced dentistry in the Baltimore area for the past 12 years and prides herself not only on her skills as a dentist, but her honesty and compassion. I aim to treat each and every patient as I would treat my closest family members. That means listening to and understanding their fears and concerns, treating them gently and with compassion, and recommending only the dentistry that benefits them.
Lori is a dentist with a conservative mindset and will only advise procedures that are in the patients best interest. She creates a very friendly, comfortable and anxiety-free environment in the dental office.
Lori resides in Fells Point with her husband, Sam, and their two children, Finn and Mae. They enjoy the proximity to the park and the water and are often found at the playground with Finn and Mae, jogging, playing social sports, or just out enjoying the restaurants and shops around the neighborhood.
After graduating from McDonogh School, he majored in Biology at Western MD College (now McDaniel College), graduating with honors. Gordon received his dental education from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine followed by a dental residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Gordon began his dental practice in Towson in 1973 and has been at it ever since!
Dr. Shelton 's approach to dentistry is to provide the services that benefitthe patient, and only the patient. 'Honestdentistry creates happy patients and a humbling and gratifying experience for me.' What humbles him most is a practice that he has built from almost referrals alone. There are generations of families and friendswho call Dr.Sheltontheir dentist.
Gordon and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 47 years. They have 3 children and 4 delightful grandchildren. When he is not in the office or spending time with family, hes usually doing some combination of hiking, hunting, backpacking and studying natural history.
