Dr. Linda Cao wasn't my issue, she's always been friendly and professional. The office manager however can use some customer service training, she lacks communication skills and overall is a miserable person to deal with. As several others have mentioned this place over charges, they prey on those who don't question much. I asked for an explanation of cost for my son's future procedure; She snapped at me and expressed she had already explained that to me. In addition, after calling my insurance it was clarified to me that they do in fact cover sedation and nitrous oxide. This means that my bill would be significantly less, I called back to explain the situation and was advised by the office manager she would not call my insurance to get a break down of benefits and she stated even if they say they cover it, they will not and that she will bill me for these services. She was speaking over me and when I tried to get a word in edgewise she started stating loudly, "Stop yelling at me." While the tone of my voice was annoyed, I was not yelling yet she played the role of the victim. I advised that I would take my business elsewhere if my simple request was refused, as I don't appreciate being priced gauged. She- and I quote- said "Do not threaten me" as if me taking my business elsewhere is a direct threat to her or her livelihood. Her poor attitude cost this institution 3 clients. Dr. Cao, if you care one bit of the brand you're building I would strongly advise to check your workers, implement some customer service workshops to address the poor attitude. Instead of trying to resolve my concerns the office manager was very argumentative, wanted to have the last word, and she felt the need to personally attack me as a parent. I would strongly suggest to keep looking when it comes to your child's needs, not because the doctor lacks the proper credentials to practice, but the poor management and price gouging practice this place implements. I spoke with two other institutions and my request was not a difficult or foreign one and they both expressed their willingness to go the extra mile for the client. Save your hard earned money and put it to work elsewhere.

Not recommended this office, I couldn't hear what the doctor try to explain because too many side noises, been waiting for 45!!!!! Minutes till the front desk pull my insurance information and give me a proximity price for a future procedure. In a few days, I call again to make an appointment for my baby on what lady on the front desk told me than the doctor cannot do necessarily procedure because she needs a second opinion and we have to go to see another dentist and with result come back to them again !!! Oh really

This place is HORRIBLE! they will not bill your secondary insurance until they make you over pay for procedures that do NOT even need to be performed. They told me one of my kids had 8 cavities and the other had 12! Wanted payment right then and there... I got a second opinion THANK GOD I did, one kid had 2 the other has 4! Thats a huge difference and the other office billed both my insurances... smile bright wanted to charge me $650... I paid $63 for the new office!!! They are ripping people off and telling people they need way more work done than is really needed. NEVER again and I will spread the word!!!

Took my 6yrs old daughter in for a dental visit. She had a gag issue when every the dentist stick something in her mouth. They couldn't take an x-ray, additional cost of the oxygen stuff to calm her down didn't seem to make any affect. With many tech attempt, they didn't seem to have any experience to gag patient. I would expect some sort of trick that they would handle this case by experience and as a pediatric. But I was standing there, and they just try to stick it in her mouth, then call for help. Next person the same thing came try to stick it in and she gag. Her previous dentist would talk to her and try to trick the patient's mind so my daughter was able to went through her cleaning. The first visit they couldn't get anything done, we end up with a $175+ with extra cost of the useless oxygen. Reschedule next visit no luck walks home with another bill rack up to close to $300 bucks for nothing with insurance. Me and my Wife usually get our cleaning done with only $10-15 deducible, getting charge up to $300 for yearly maintenance on a child is not acceptable.

My son's experience with Dr. Cao and her entire staff was nothing less than phenomenal. The waiting area caters to the little ones with a play room and a separate game room that are both kept spotless. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 9 a.m. appointment and were called back within a few minutes. X-rays were first, then a consultation showing what procedures would work best for him along with options we were comfortable with. After reviewing x-rays of my sons teeth, we received a detailed print-out and explanation of what the insurance company covers and what I would be responsible for out of pocket. I noticed during the short waiting periods transitioning to both rooms, the staff was very accommodating making my 5 year old (very shy) son feel as comfortable as he could possibly be. I was allowed to sit next to him and hold his hand during the extraction procedure as the technicians went above and beyond to make sure he felt at ease. We were in and out within a total of 40 minutes. Jordan walked out as happy as could be holding his teeth that were handed to him in a tiny treasure box to put under neath his pillow. I am so happy with our experience at Dr. Cao's Dentistry, we will be referring all of our family and friends.
