Dr. Lily Chen obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry in 1995. Following graduation, she completed a one year residency program and received a post graduate certificate in General Practice Residency at the University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry. This residency program allowed Dr. Chen to be among a selected group of general dentists with formal advanced training in cosmetic, comprehensive, implant, and hospital dentistry. Dr. Chen also served as an assistant clinical professor for at the University Of Texas at Houston School Of Dentistry.
Since Dr. Chen began her practice, she has committed to advancing her knowledge in dentistry. Each year she far exceeds the continuing education requirements of the Dental State Board in order to stay up-to-date with all facets of dentistry, with special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, implants, and sleep apnea. Dr. Chen also enjoys working with children and sees children of all ages. She has kept up to date with the latest techniques and technologies, ensuring her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental treatments. She is a certified Invisalign provider, and has also completed advanced postgraduate training in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry from prestigious institutes such as the Spear Education, Clinical Mastery Series, and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Studies. In addition to her continuing education training, she also attends a local dental study club. Dr. Chen's commitment to excellence has earned her recognitions by the International Association of Dentists, Americas Best Dentists, and H Magazine.
In her spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and watching her kids participating in rowing and tennis. She also supports womens shelters and volunteers with various professional associations providing healthcare to low income families.

Excellent new patient dental care! Impressive. Excellent dental equipment, X-ray images clear. Excellent staff. Dr Chen is very thorough & comprehensive! Great feedback & recommendation from Dr Chen & dental assistants. Two dental assistants provided additional care with full range of X-rays, exam, cleaning of plaque, tartar, polishing. My next 6 mo. appt was scheduled while I was still reclining in the dental chair. Good, affordable dental plan for those who are uninsured for dental. Amazing. So glad a good friend recommended me to this Dr Chen's office.

I do not enjoy going to the dentist but somehow Dr. Chen and her wonderful staff make the visit a positive experience. I highly recommend this dentist. They are well organized and seem to always be ready for their patients.

Everyone was nice! Monica and Diane were super helpful. Monet was sweet and Nelson was gentle and knowledgeable. Dr. Chen was very attentive and shared a lot of helpful information. I had a great cleaning session!!

Dr. Lily Chen is perhaps the best dentist I have ever had. She has a great bedside manner and is detail oriented. She has an amazing staff. Hygienist Brenda has light hands, yet thorough in her cleaning. Receptionist Brenda is super, very helpful!

Dr Chen and her staff have always been most helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. She also eliminated lip pain by adding veneers to my front teeth. Now I do not have excess pressure on my upper lip and playing Euphonium is much more fun!

Just transferred to this office and had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Chen and hygienist Maliah, everyone was very friendly and attentive, the environment was inviting and allowed me to relax and feel comfy. Cleaning and the whole process was very quick (in a good way), detailed and thorough- Maliah always letting me know what she was about to do beforehand and during which gave me a sense of ease and trust, and was very informative if I had questions or concerns throughout. Dr. Chen was also just as clear, listens well and communicates the treatment plan/options concisely so you understand the full picture, very knowledgeable and I appreciate that she talks with you not at you, Maliah as well. The office dynamic overall is so positive and caring, which shows in how they work efficiently together so things flow and are accounted for. Not sure if it's because I'm an adult now things feel faster, but there was no long waiting or feeling like I was getting antsy from how long things/procedure would take in past dentist experiences. All forms are completed online prior to the appointment so it allows them to get straight to business. I also noticed their equipment is amazing like modern and high-tech, hence how it felt like I was in and out in no time. My teeth looked so fresh and pearly and they motivated me to take care of them (both my teeth and hygienist). Parking is covered which is nice in this heat. Office is modern and fresh/soothing. What more can you ask for? They set the standard. Definitely recommend them and am actually looking forward to coming back and getting more work done!
