Dr. Liliana Mejia received her dental degree in Columbia, South America. She completed her orthodontic training at Emory University in Atlanta. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, Georgia Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Mejia was the pioneer orthodontist in the Eagles Landing area back in 1992 and has been in private practice since 1987. She is very excited about the latest, most innovative way to care for her patients with the new SureSmile digital orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Mejia is a local resident of Henry County. She supports several charities, schools, and sporting activities both here in Henry and surrounding areas. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, hiking in the mountains, riding bikes, and making all of her patients happy with their new smiles!
Lisa joined Dr. Mejias team in 2001. She is the Office Manager as well as the Treatment Coordinator. Lisa brings a variety of experience from other corporate management positions. She enjoys reaching out to our community through Career Day at our local Henry County schools. Lisa enjoys life, shopping, and traveling. She loves landscaping with her husband. Lisa also spends her free time taking care of her four-legged babies (her dogs).
Alicia started out as a patient of Dr. Mejias, then started working with her in 1996. After having her second daughter, she decided to stay at home with her children. She returned to the team in 2006. Alicia is bilingual, and helps the office with our Spanish speaking patients. Although her time off is very busy taking care of her family, she really enjoys vacationing with her husband and their three children.
Lacy graduated from the Orthodontic Assisting Training School in Atlanta in 1999. She has been an assistant with Dr. Mejia since then. She joined Dr. Mejias team full time in 2004. In 2006, Lacy assumed the Financial Coordinator position. She handles all financial aspects of the patients treatment both Insurance and In-house financing. Lacy and her husband enjoy raising their two daughters, and son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography, camping, and DISNEY!
Naomi has known Dr. Mejia for several years. She joined our team in 2010. Naomi is the first face you will see as you are greeted at the office. She loves meeting new people and getting to know our patients. Naomi loves to spend time with her husband, two children, and their family dogs. In her limited free time, Naomi loves to scrapbook. She is very active in her church.
Sandy joined Dr. Mejias team in 2015. She has been an orthodontic assistant since 2004. Sandy loves watching her patients smile transform with orthodontic treatment. Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys. When she isnt working, you can find her at the baseball field cheering on her sons team. Sandy also loves kayaking along the water.
Georgia joined Dr. Mejia's team in 2006 as an orthodontic assistant. She currently handles the internal and external marketing for our team. Georgia loves meeting new people and generating new patients for the office while maintaining current relationships with our dental family. Georgia enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and is actively involved in her church.
Alyson has been an orthodontic assistant for nine years, but recently joined our team. She has loved watching her patients smiles and confidence change. She and her husband have two wonderful children. She is a huge sports fanatic. If she is not at Suntrust Park cheering on the Atlanta Braves, she is boating at the lake. She also loves rooting on her favorite football team, Alabama. Roll Tide, ROLL!
Dr. Mejia is very flexible when it comes to the variety of financial options available to all patients. We strive to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! Family discounts are offered to parents and siblings of our Mejia Family.
Please ask us about our monthly payment plans. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are accepted as well as Health Savings or Flexible Spending accounts. Dr. Mejia also accepts CareCredit. We have options to process direct ACH drafts from your checking or savings accounts. Depending on the payment plan you choose, full payment is required at the time of service. We thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs.
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claim.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If during the course of treatment your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.

So my son has been there for 2 years only to be told that because I don't agree with treatment to walk in today to say we are removing the braces off. My son has autistic and diabetes and this is his treatment after $3500 of not missing a payment. So PLEASE DON'T EVER USE THIS PLACE!!

I called their emergency line because my son was having issues with his braces. I called early in the morning, left a message since no one picked up and they never returned my call back

We have been coming here for years! Dr. Mejia has served our family for generations, and has always provided top notch individualized care. Staff are always super friendly, and the facility is always in immaculate condition. Waiting area has lots of seating, and also has a small play area for younger children. Dr. Mejia offers free consultations as well as payment plans for services. If you are within an hour drive, I would highly recommend the drive to receive your orthodontic care from Dr. Mejia!

I just love Dr. Mejia and her staff! I have been a patient at Dr. Mejia's office for a while (my bite was complicated), and they have been great people to be around. They are professional, they know exactly what they're doing, and their friendliness makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Mejia to anyone, and she has allowed me to have a great smile!
