Dr. Lieberman is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. In addition to his dental office in Park Slope he is an attending in Methodist Hospital dental clinic.
Lauren B. is a certified/licensed Dental Hygienist. She studied at the New York City Technical College and graduated in 2001. She has been working for 15 years as dental hygienist, treating both children and adults.
Replacing your toothbrush is an easy task, so much so that many people don't often think about doing it until it's been a significant amount of time. Here are three things you should know about replacing your toothbrush.
Bacteria builds up on your toothbrush daily; though it's a very small amount in relation to surfaces like the bathroom sink, bacteria does still build up. After about three to four months, your toothbrush is a bacteria playground.
Because of the bacterial buildup, it's suggested you replace your toothbrush every three to four months to avoid bad breath and tooth decay. If you don't replace your toothbrush regularly, it'll become less effective, potentially leading to dental illnesses.
The kind of toothbrush you use doesn't matter nearly as much as you think it may. So long as the American Dental Association approves it, it's an excellent toothbrush. Regular toothbrushes and battery-operated toothbrushes don't have a different cleaning ability either, so picking the right toothbrush boils down to which you'd prefer.

I recently went in for a check up and cleaning. The staff are always professional and curteous. Ophelia was my hygienist this time and she was terrific. She was gentle and always made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. After the cleaning, Dr. Spector came in to see me. He's the best. He checked my teeth and asked if I had any concerns. He took the time to make sure I didn't have any problems with my teeth. In 64 years, I think Dr. Spector and his staff is the best dental group I've ever had.

I am sorry but I felt that Lauren gave me a much better cleaning than the Chinese hygienist gave me. She was just okey.

Pleasant atmosphere, kind professional staff members just to say the least but most of all Dr. Matthew Lieberman is the best he'll let you know what needs to be done before you ask. I highly recommend this practice Mr. Frederick Francis

I had Cecilia to take X ray and clean my teeth today. She is so gentle and thorough that I never had such good experience of cleaning. Highly recommend.

I really hated going to the dentist but couldn't go on neglecting my teeth so I gave Dr. Spector and staff a try and I really like this office. Front desk staff is really friendly. Dr. Spector and the dental hygienist are great.

Dr. Liberman is very professional. Cecilia Feng Dental Hygienist is a professional breath of fresh air. Ms. Feng hygienist skillsets are amazing while polishing and hand scaleing my teeth.

Love my Always excellent Dental Technician. She asks appropriate questions. Listens to my dental issues and seeks ways to resolve. Very accommodating staff who called me re an earlier cancellation. No wait time.

First time visit. . Everything was very professional and the hygienist was excellent. Front desk receptionist very friendly and helped us set up our new account. Next visit we will see the doctor!! So far excellent first visit for myself and my wife!!!

Upon reception, The office staff is very warm and inviting. Lauren is kind, patient and has very gentle hands while still providing a thorough cleaning. The Dr. was witty and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. We highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a family dentist!! We will definitely be returning!

What can I say...everything positive and amazing with this team! Always accommodating. Always friendly and kind. Dr. Spector is a true diamond in the rough. He is very knowledgeable and always considers other options and opinions. And Lauren... the best hygienist around. Super friendly and gives the best advice.

The office is very clean, and the staff is very kind and professional and helpful, the hygienist Lauren was amazing she explains everything she was doing and make you feel comfortable in her chair, she clean my 6 and 14 years old girls and they didn't feel any pain, I so appreciate this visit, will be back for my 6mths check up.

Dr Spector is the best! He's been treating my dental needs for years and has always done a great job. I don't have the greatest teeth since I got on the wrong line as a kid when they were given out . Dr Spector always find a way to correct any problem that arises.So glad I have a dentist I trust. Keep up the good work!!
