I am Dr. Lenny Kundel, a proud 1999 graduate of Tufts University School of Dentistry. Following a year of residency at Montefiore Hospital and several associateships, I have established private practices in Stamford, Connecticut and New York City.
My motto is Your mouth is connected to your body and so it should be treated as such. While it is not always possible to completely avoid intervention, it is certainly possible to be kind about it. Education of adults and children is my essential task and responsibility. I spend time helping my patients decide what is right for them. Proper home care is the single most important factor that determines if teeth will be around for a lifetime. I want for your child to have the tools necessary to grow up with a healthy mouth and body.
I have been studying Oral Systemic connection for nearly two decades.It has been my passion from day one.My path has taken me from being an orthodontic patient, and, as a result, to a TMJ patient, to a dentist that helps people with jaw pain.The understanding of connection between mouth and body isa foundation for my practice.
It is this understanding that empowers me to assist moms and infants with breastfeeding as well as help children with growth and development.The ALF approach is the most whole body friendly dental treatment with benefits that last a lifetime.Building bridges between medical and dental communities brings results for our patients that were not possible before.
To be of service is a meaningful, gratifying, and fulfilling experience that begins anew every single day. My debt of gratitude is to my many mentors who spent the time and energy to teach and share the information. Everything, from Receptionist, Office manager, Dentist, Assistants.... all of them-AMAZING!! 10 OUT OF 10!! Highly Recommend.. This is the the dentist you want in your life, just make the appointment.. you won't regret it!

I took an afternoon off from work and took my son for a consult. I drove almost an hour and the traffic was horrible. We were 10 minutes late and he refused to see us. Unbelievable this is how this doctor treats patients.

Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kundel and his staff. Expertise, kindness, professionalism, and respect are all foundations of the office. They always run on time. Office is meticulous. Highly recommend.

Awful experience for my husband. Kundel was impatient, didn't answer questions thoroughly, shrugged his shoulders more times than we could count, and left the hygenist who is sweet but inexperienced to help us. His disheveled/sweaty appearance added insult to injury and the silver caps on his teeth were unsettling. Although the hygenist gave us conflicting information vs the dentist, she tried so 1 star for that and the friendly receptionists. Also, the office smells bad for which we are ashamed-it should have been our first hint to run. Edit: So I guess they can't tell who my husband is from my review nd instead of asking, they get upset. They sent a review request and we obliged. Their response can't discredit the specifics laid out so they reply with calling my review fake instead of taking mine and other awful patient experiences into account and improving. The fake reviews that proclaim how amazing Kundel is is a farse and hold no merit. Run, don't walk, from this place.

Great office, excellent reception, and an incredibly knowledgeable Dentist. My 7-year-old was a teeth grinder; every other dentist said not to worry, that if she's still grinding when she has her grown-up teeth, they would fit her for a mouth guard. Dr. Kundel came up with a thoughtful plan, and within a week, she stopped grinding.

Dr. Kundel is a rare breed. He has knowledge far above and beyond most dentists and that knowledge is truly wholistic, as in the whole body. He correctly diagnosed and had solutions for issues with my children's teeth, bite and jaw that no other dentist had ever even noticed and my son is 13!

Driving 45 minutes from my hometown to see Dr. Kundel. It is totally worth it! I chose IDr. Kundel because of his holistic approach to oral health. He is kind, knowledgeable and patient! The office staff is very friendly. Lady, the hygienist, is very kind, caring, and patient as well. If you are looking for a holistic dentist- don't look further! Dr. Kundel is the one!

My two children and I saw Dr Kundel for years. Both kids had the ALF and I worked with expansion and braces. At the end of the painful and expensive treatment on my part, I have been left with a open bite and chronic pain. Both my children are now seeing a new orthodontist because the work he did was unsuccessful. It was an expensive, painful and in my case, destructive 2 years of treatment.

Dr. Kundel was wonderful. He did my sons tongue and lip tie. My son is 2 years old and was just diagnosed with tongue and lip tie. Dr. Kundul was very to the point and made sure we understood everything that was going on and how to do the aftercare. I highly recommend him for this revision.

I've only had my first appointment with Dr. Kundel, but I am already blown away by him and his team. In the multiple calls I had leading up to my consultation, I had such a genuinely kind, helpful, and thorough experience with Lena and the other office staff. My visit with Dr. Kundel was no different. He listened thoughtfully, was thorough in the questions he asked, and clear in his thoughts on treatment. It is the first truly positive dentist experience I've had in my whole life and the first time someone really considered the root cause of the issues I was having. It is clear that Dr. Kundel and his team are on the cutting edge of dentistry and the connection of the mouth to the whole body but also on the cutting edge of kindness. I look forward to working with them more!

My 3 week old had her frenectomy done by Dr Kundel. He was very straight forward and to the point which we liked. We had the consultation and he did the procedure right after. Definitely would recommend him for this procedure.

I found Dr Kundel when I went looking for a second opinion to fill a cavity (I was seeking out a less toxic alternative to traditional composite materials). I cannot say enough wonderful things about the "miracle" experience I received in his office! I was able to avoid a filling entirely by getting dab of silver diamine fluoride applied to my tooth! The whole process took about 10 minutes from start to finish, was entirely painless, and extremely affordable. Dr Kundel and his staff were so kind, helpful, and so efficient. I am so grateful to have found this dentist.

Dr. Kundel was amazing and so good with my daughter. He explained everything from her xrays and what is going to happen and recommended other Dr's to help with other issues she might be dealing with. His office staff was all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
