In February 2022, Dr. Leo Menendez removed all four of my wisdom teeth. I was referred to him by my primary dentist, and initially, I had concerns about Dr. Menendez performing the extractions due to the mixed reviews. However, I'm thankful that I had a professional, uneventful experience with him and his team. He patiently addressed all of my questions about the removal of my wisdom teeth and helped me manage my expectations regarding the timeframe for recovery. His team was supportive throughout the entire process (from consultation to follow-up appointments) and properly handled all billing matters. I also appreciated the diversity of his team as far as race, age, and gender.

Had an appointment to have 8 teeth pulled Paid for twilight gas when I came to only 6 were pulled even though I paid $1500. In advance for everything had to make another appointment to come back 3 weeks later to have the other 2 teeth pulled. I paid $388.00 for nitrous gas laughing gas While the appointment was going on the nitros gas did not work kept telling him I could feel everything i felt him pulling teeth and cut gums open i felt everything crying he told me to shut up. He then told me I should have paid $799 for the twilight gas again. not recommend this doctor terrible place to go!!! I still wake up crying from what he did to me

2 weeks vacation turn to an emergency Teaster 639 dentist called monday.Left message;got called right of way Tuesday with x-ray and referral for Dr.Menendez.My initiation,I told then that what I needed done with having the x-ray and referral. Then got my dental insurance info and was aware for 2 tooth ie..2 surgeries.set a week away appointment but will call a day before if approved.2 days prior;a text for"c":conferm. The day before appointmen;confusions."did the doctor call you for questions before the surgery?"...",me,"he won't know what to do until he see you for consultation";"??",me."we're very booked..but we could do for.."..."just consultation(14 days from tomorrow),me"..."(upset breathing with disappointments)..I agree.A couple of mins,They called back for 2 days after for consultation and then surgery date.Wow!!luckily I have been taking my emergency dentist Amoxicillin prescription.

Had to find an oral surgeon that took united healthcare Was able to get an appt a week later unlike another office that offered up December. Taylan the lady at the front desk worked very hard to make sure my insurance was taken. Had my consult on a Wednesday and my procedure first thing Thursday. He was efficient and available to answer questions. Had no issues and his staff is great. Would recommend.

If I could give a lower score I would. I had to pay for most of my covered dental work, at the office, up front, even with my Cigna Insurance. Cigna record show that they processed the claim on 5 July and said I should only have to have paid $10.10. I should have been reimbursed the amount I had over paid. Keep being given excuses by the front desk and still no check. Now I am going to have $31.00 dollars taken out of my reimbursement check to stop payment on their previous check, and have another check issued. This really unbelievable. None of my previous Dentist Offices have charged me in advance for the amount my insurance would cover. Something fishy

Had a terrible experience here when I had my wisdom teeth removed while on spring break from college. During the procedure, I did not receive enough numbing medication and I could feel each of my 4 teeth being removed. I mentioned this repeatedly to Dr. Menendez and nothing was done. He prescribed naproxen (Aleve) which did nothing for me. I called the office and was told they would not give me a different medication. Luckily, my mom had Motrin at home to give me. Then, the office tried to charge me hundreds of dollars extra then the price that was agreed upon. Apparently, the billing staff had never contacted my insurance company to see how much they would cover before giving me the price. Just an overall disappointing, extremely unprofessional experience.

I went to Dr. Menendez's office to get my wisdom teeth removed and it went super well. The consultation before the day of the surgery was informative and really calmed my nerves. The day of the surgery, Dr. Menendez took care of everything and completed the surgery with no problem. I went under general anesthesia, so after the surgery they took me into another room so I can lay down for a bit. It really helped to let the anesthesia wear off. Everyone in his office is so nice and even when I was recovering and had questions, all I had to do was call. I'm all recovered now and it only took about two weeks. It was a very clean and caring facility. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible staff, very unprofessional front desk ! Couple of days ahead of my appointment I called front desk and went over the costs in details, asked what documents they need from my general dentist. On my appointment day, I called to double check with front desk they have all they need and my consultation visit would not cost me. Long story short, after keeping me waiting for ~40 minutes in the waiting room with other people (reminder: there is a pandemic going on !!!), they said they need to take new images from my teeth and I need to pay that out of pocket ! When I asked them why they did not tell me in advance and I contacted them before I come, they did not have any explanations ! This was enough sign for me to refuse their service which god knows how much they will charge me later even if now they say it will be covered by my insurance !

This office is the only one that takes my insurance and is an hour+ from my house. I went for a wisdom tooth extraction consult and had some issue with the referring dental office. The staff at Menendez office were very helpful in figuring out how to fix the issue. They were very personable with my children who had to come along as well. I went back a few days later for the extraction and they walked me through the whole procedure. Very knowledgeable and so nice. Office was clean and organized too. Highly recommend Dr. Menendez and his staff!!
