After graduating from Temple University Dental School, Dr. Slotkin managed a satellite office for a multi-doctor practice for 18 months. He then moved into an associate position in a state of the art private practice for 5 years before opening his current practice in Somerset.
Dr. Slotkin has three boys, Scott, Alex, and Zachary with his wife of 35 years, Ann Schmidt. The family enjoys yearly trips to LBI, Europe and other vacation spots.Dr. Slotkins oldest son, Scott is a production editor for The Tonight Show. Alex, his middle son, is agraduate of theUniversity of Delaware with a degree in economics. Zachary. theyoungestis asenior at Rutgers University and plans to attend law school after graduation. Ann is an attorney for the biotech company Roche Molecular.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and the martial arts. He achieved the masters rank in Tae Kwon Do in 2001 and is currently studying the Israeli art of Krav Maga. An avid sports fan, he loves pro football, college basketball and lacrosse.
Maria Bittner has been our dental hygienist since the spring of 2016. After moving to the west coast, Maria and her husband returned to New Jersey in 2016. She most enjoys her grandchildren and travel.
Melissa Gonzalez is our office receptionist/insurance expert. She was born in NY in 1985 and moved to NJ when she was 13. As a teen she was very athletic playing both softball and basketball. She also has a talent for singing and performed in a few shows in NY in her late teens and early twenties.

No idea how good he is at his profession, although the reviews are all stellar so I'm guessing pretty good. But here's what I DO know: My elderly mother in law was losing a tooth at her nursing home. The house DDS was unavailable for a week. We scored an appointment with Dr. Slotkin one one day's notice for the emergency, and when we got Mom there... Tooth already out... Surprise... He gave her the once over and charged us , no kidding, $31. Real stand up guy. Impressive.

Dr. Lee Slotkin is incredible. Many people associate dental work with negativity - this would not be the case if all dentist's took care of their patients like Dr. Slotkin. The best there is.

I have been using Dr Slotkin for over 20 years. He is the best. He is always up on the latest procedures and uses the newest equipment. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. He has helped me out several times when it was an emergency. I have talked to numerous people over the years who have had very bad experiences with their dentists and have told them what I'm telling you, I have never had a problem with Dr Slotkin.

I have been going to Dr. Slotkin since 1994. I hated my smile because my four front teeth were discolored due to two very old root canals and poor dental habits as a kid. It was difficult to match the color because he had to use two different materials due to the root canals. He did veneers on my two front teeth and caps on those next to them. He matched the color perfectly; amazing! I love my smile; I have gotten compliments on my teeth for years! He is patient and explains everything and makes the best recommendations. I drive 25 miles one way to go to him. He is the best!
