The focus of his interests is conservative approaches to treating gum, bone, and tooth loss. He utilizes advanced techniques including the use of the Periolase Dental Laser (LANAP procedure) to help save teeth, dental implants, regenerates supporting bone, and treat periodontal disease without the use of traditional surgical procedures. Additionally, Dr. Cohen is certified in Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation, which is a scalpel and suture-free procedure to treat gum recession with immediate results.
Dr. Cohen uses in-office, state of the art 3D CT imaging to develop the least invasive dental implant and bone regeneration treatment options. Dr. Cohen and his facility are states certified to perform both IV and Oral Sedation procedures. Botox and Dermal Fillers are also utilized to enhance patients' cosmetic outcomes.
Dr. Cohen formerly served on the Board of Trustees for the American Academy of Periodontology and the Florida Dental Association. He is past president of the Florida Association of Periodontists and the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association. Dr. Cohen is a member of the American College of Maxillofacial Implantology and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. In addition, he has been awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Alison is our practice leader who focuses on you. Her warm and welcoming approach helps you feel at ease from the first hello. Its a good thing because Alison is your ceaseless advocate. She possesses a wealth of information about periodontal treatment and graciously guides you through visits and your care process.
To her role, Alison brings nearly two decades of dental practice management experience. She has completed numerous business management, clinical care, and concierge service educational programs earning certifications in multiple disciplines.
Cayla coordinates your surgical treatment schedule, confirms benefits coverage, and helps make financial arrangements for care. She serves as our liaison between patients, our clinical care team, and the business office.
Cayla completed her Associates Degree at Indian River State College and is enrolled in the Dental Assisting program. We often find Caylas gentle demeanor helps you feel at ease throughout your care experience.
Ashlee earned her degree in Dental Assisting from Palm Beach State College. She went on to receive her Expanded Functions certification from the Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches. Fewer than 10% of dental assistants nationwide have completed the rigorous Expanded Functions program. Were especially proud of Ashlees distinguished accomplishment.
Katherine earned her degree in Dental Assisting degree, with an Expanded Functions designation, from Nova Southeastern University in 2002. She holds additional certifications in dental radiography, including digital x-rays.
Outside of the office, Katherine loves spending time outdoors. She and her family are working toward a goal of visiting all 423 of the U.S. National Parks. Her favorite coffee drink is a decaf vanilla Frappuccino.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the tremendous treatment a person receives from Dr. Lee Cohen and his staff. Beginning with the initial consultation through the complete pain-free procedure you are treated with kindness, professionalism by each and every member of this fine organization. If you are considering implant surgery look no further because there is no one that compares, cost is not a factor in the end your treatment, comfort, peace of mind and results are invaluable.

Had surgery last week to remove a tooth and insert two implants. Office staff are very professional and they do everything they can to put you at ease. Dr. Cohen answered all my questions, prior to the procedure and then again at my first follow up. I had hardly any pain in the days following the surgery and no swelling. Highly recommend.

The staff at Dr Cohen's office are all welcoming and very professional. Dr Cohen is a very knowledgeable doctor. He explained the procedure very well and the results are beyond amazing. I am new to Florida and was in search of a Periodontist & dentist to start the process of having my teeth removed and full mouth implants done. I met with several others for consultations and did not care for any of the recommedations which included root canals galore and some crowns. I resorted to traveling back up North and working hand in hand with my Dentist of 25 years. He referred me to another periodontist in NJ that fortunately knew Dr Cohen. It was a Godsend to say the least!! and he was 10 minutes from my home. My experience with Dr Cohen and his staff were nothing short of phenomanal. Dr Cohen was communicating with my Dentist in NJ as well as Dr Meinbach of M Dental who is preparing my implants. My procedure with Dr Cohen was April 13th 2022. Everything was completely explained during a few prior visits to his office with my husband. I had complete trust in him and his staff. They were available 24/7 for any questions or concerns. I was asleep the entire procedure and felt no pain at all. I am healing perfectly and was so thankful that I found him. Dr Cohen is also just a great guy, easy to talk with and has a great sense of humor! His office staff is superb as well. I had extractions and bone graft. Then posts inserted for implants. I did have sedation. My recovery was amazing. I followed Dr Cohens directions exactly. Absolutely no pain at all. I couldn't be happier. Have no fear, you will be in excellent care

I have had three implants done by Dr. Cohen. Two of them were done two years ago. I was so pleased with the outcome that I decided to get a third implant. I had absolutely no post-op problems. Everything went very well. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen. He and his staff were exceptionally professional and extremely courteous.

Dr. Cohen placed an implant after my tooth extraction. He mentioned that the implant would be the easier part and he was right! Very little pain or swelling. Staff is great and makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Couldn't be happier!

I was referred to Dr. Lee Cohen's office for a tooth extraction in preparation for what would be my first implant. Prior to the extraction, I met with members of Dr. Cohen's team and the procedure was fully explained to me. Everyone with whom I had contact at the office was professional and friendly and did their best to put me at ease for what was for me a somewhat scary procedure to follow. The day of the extraction, I was taken into the office on time and prepared for the surgery by a dental assistant named Sarah. She explained to me what was to follow, attached an IV line, and took my vitals. The next thing I remember was walking out to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. Not only did I have no recollection of the surgery, but during the recovery period of the next five days I had no pain or swelling whatsoever. Today, eight days later, I visited the office for a follow up visit. Again I was taken on time and this time was awake and was able to learn from Alyssa, the dental assistant who was present during the surgery, everything that had happened during my procedure. Dr. Cohen then came in and explained the remaining steps necessary to complete the implant procedure. Everything seems to be on track. Dr. Cohen's office and the entire process so far have all exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitancy in recommending Dr. Cohen should you need to avail yourself of his services.

Had a recent extraction of a tooth with immediate placement of an implant. From the consultation to the post-procedure follow-up, Dr. Cohen and his staff were extremely engaging, professional and efficient. The office is a warm, welcoming environment. Dr. Cohen clearly and thoroughly detailed what the process and technique of placing the implant entailed. The procedure itself was painless, I experienced no discomfort during the extraction of the damaged tooth, nor the placement of the implant. There was no pain or discomfort at anytime between the procedure and follow-up appointment a week later. While I had no anxiety or trepidation about having the work done (I've had extensive dental procedures in the past) Dr. Cohen's utilization of anxiolytics and conscious sedation would serve the anxious or fearful patient very well. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone in need of periodontal care.

I was having very bad mouth pain and Dr Cohen made time to do surgery the very next day. I was very nervous about the surgery but Dr Cohen explained everything very well and the procedure was painless. I had no pain after the surgery and was able to go on a business trip the very next day. I highly recommend Dr Cohen.

Just make the appointment! To preface I have extreme anxiety when it comes to anything dental related, so the thought of dental surgery terrified me! (I needed an extraction and an implant) I am so incredibly thankful I got referred to Dr. Cohen because it was hands down the best experience I've had in a dental setting... ever. I've never felt more understood about my dental anxiety and well educated about a procedure than I did in my consult with Dr.Cohen. He was thorough and explained exactly what would be taking place and reassured me I would be comfortable, relaxed and would not have an unpleasant experience and he kept his word! The day of my procedure went flawlessly! I was provided with medicine to help me feel comfortable and relaxed on my way to my appointment. I was taken right back and offered a warm blanket in a comfortable room, IV sedation was started and just like that it was over! I don't remember much of anything from the procedure but I do know I didn't experience an ounce of pain or fear. My procedure and experience with Dr. Cohen and his incredible staff was exactly what I was promised it would be and if I ever need something like this done in the future I will be going back with no hesitation and even better no fear!

I've got to say, this was one of the easiest procedures I ever had in my life as far as dental work goes. Even easier than getting my teeth cleaned! . Dr. Cohen and his staff are excellent and made me feel very comfortable. They explained everything in detail and left no loose ends. I had absolutely no discomfort, no pain, no bruising or bleeding (this is very rare for me!), and very little swelling on which I used ice packs the first day. If you are considering this procedure, LANAP, please don't be the least bit hesitant. In my opinion, it was a piece of cake!!! Thank You, Dr. Cohen and Staff, for all you did for me!!
