Dr. Brent Boyd is a general dentist who provides comprehensive, compassionate dental care. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Physiology and Anatomy from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He then continued up the coast to San Francisco to complete his training at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He is an active member in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the California Dental Association. To give back to the community he volunteers regularly with Give Kids A Smile. Dr. Boyd is an avid Angels baseball fan, ardent surfer, recreational soccer player, aspiring chef, and enjoys exploring with his Jack Russell terrier, Sprout.

Kadie was born in Las Vegas and moved to Southern California in 2005. She has worked in dentistry for many years and enjoys helping patients. She has worked chairside and behind the scenes as a lab technician where she made crown and bridge for 5 years. She enjoys spending time at the beach and other outdoor activities with her family.

Esmeralda comes to us from a long career with hospitality. She has worked in customer service for almost a decade, and is here to help ensure our patients have the best dental experience possible. When she is not busy filling our schedule she is spending time with her family here in San Clemente.

Rochelle is a California native who grew up in Dana Point, California. As a former collegiate athlete, Rochelle played volleyball at both Utah State University and San Diego State University, where she ultimately received her bachelors degree in Communications as a proud Aztec. After pursuing a career in the sports industry, Rochelle decided to return to California from Arizona and become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She began working for Dr. Eckl as a dental assistant/front office in 2008 and has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2011. Rochelle is married and resides with her husband in Ladera Ranch. She looks forward to providing excellent and ethical treatment to each patient entrusted to her care.

Sarah, a San Clemente native, joined our team in 2016. Shortly after graduating from dental hygiene school in 2015, she and her fire fighter husband welcomed their first child. They now have 2 little boys. When she isnt working, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Sarah is looking forward to continue building relationships with her patients and always make their experience at our office a positive one.

Brandi was born and raised in Glendora, California. She started practicing as a dental assistant in 2001 and wanted to advance her career. Now she is a registered dental hygienist since 2013 and loves what she does. She is passionate about her job and enjoys working with her patients. Brandi thrives to give the best care possible, to educate and make patients happy with their smile. When not working she loves to go to the beach and spend time with her family and friends.

Karina was born in Mexico City and at the age of three, moved with her family to San Clemente. She completed the Capistrano-Laguna Beach Regional Occupational program and received her Dental Assisting Certification. Karina and her husband, Jose, love spending time with their daughter, Jocelyn. Karina is passionate about dentistry and helping make your experience as smooth as possible. She is actively working towards becoming a Registered Dental Assistant.

Portia, a San Clemente native, has been a chairside assistant since completing the R.O.P. assisting course in 2003 while in high school. She is yoga enthusiast and avid reader. When she isnt working, Portia and her husband enjoy camping and scouting with their2 school aged kids. Portia has assisted in a variety of dental settings and is very happy to have joined this family-oriented practice. She is actively working toward becoming a registered dental assistant and looks forward to helping our patients have a great experience at our office.

Rocio a Costa Rica native, has lived in San Clemente for 10 years. She is a graduate of the Dental assistant school of San Diego. When she is not working, she enjoys surfing and traveling with her son and husband. She is actively working towards getting her RDA.
