I am not sure how to put all of this. I was sent here because I was told I needed a specialist and a root canal. I make an appointment and have to wait almost 2 weeks then I get here and after a short exam I am told I need an extraction and that they don't do that here I need an oral surgeon. Now that is not their fault but then when I am billed almost 200.00 after my insurance just to be told that there is nothing they can do for me. This specialist dentist and insurance is starting to really feel like a scam. I am livid and would leave a one star but the staff is very nice and the Dr was very informative as well but the billing and referring with insurance is ridiculous.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE VERY RUDE STAFF WHEN IT COMES TO PAYMENT. They will give your less estimate and then will charge you significant amount and then threaten to give it to collection if you don't agree. Never go to this place.

My experience at her office was as painfree as possible. Her staff was friendly, professional and efficient from insurance to billing to assisting Dr. Southard. Dr Southard herself was incredibly gentle yet thorough. Unlike my experience elsewhere, I only had minimal discomfort once the anesthetic wore off. That was a pleasant, welcome surprise.

Had a root canal revision yesterday. Can't even tell it was done today. No pain whatsoever. The staff was comforting and Dr. Southard explained everything in detail during the first visit to after it was completed. Thank you for making a nervous patient feel at ease.

Nobody wants a root canal, but if you have to get one go here. She was super fast. It only took her about 30 minutes. No pain the next day either. They even called the next day to check on me. Who does that? A++++

I've had bad dental experiences since I was a young child. My dentis referred me to Dr Laurie Southard for a root canal, that had been going on for a while I was petrified & in pain my mind was racing in all different directions. But to my surprise Dr Laurie Southard & her staff made me feel comfortable & at ease answereing all my concerns. Dr.Laurie Southard was phenomenal & the procedure was better than anything (my mind thought) I Will refere my family & friends to Dr. Laurie Southard

I've never had a root canal before. I've had bad dental experiences since I was a kid. I went into her office so scared and nervous I almost back out. With her help and kind chair side manner, I walked out of her office without pain. And the procedure wasn't bad at all! If ever I need another root canal, she'll be my first call. Top notch all the way, and this is my second day after. No pain!

My 8 year old daughter had a procedure done there this week and had a wonderful experience. She went in feeling very nervous. The staff along with Dr. Southard put her right at ease with their friendly and easy going manner. She got to listen to the music on our phone while they were working on her teeth. All the staff were wonderful to work with. The office was clean and beautifully decorated. The waiting area had beverages for us while we waited.We would definitely recommend Sourthard Endodontics.

Dr. Southard and her staff were excellent, I came in for a difficult Root Canal and they were awesome. I hardly felt anything, phenomenal experience. I usually hate the dentist, but Dr. Southard isthe exception. A+++

I was referred to Dr Southard by my dentist of 25 years for what was expected to be a complex root canal. I had been experiencing extreme pain and discomfort for over a week. I found everyone at Dr Southard's office to be pleasant, professional and caring. I was prepared for an immediate root canal, assuming I did not pull the tooth out myself. Dr Southard and her assistant spent over an hour testing, retesting with multiple tests and determined my tooth was alive and well and did not require a root canal, nor was it advisable to perform a root canal and my tooth is alive (it was a deep seated abscess between gum and tooth/bone). Let the antibiotics do their job. Perhaps the best measure of a medical professional is not the procedures they perform but those they test for and advise you against. God Bless. M Garrett

I went into Dr. Southard's office to have a root canal after a permanent crown, she is one RAD dentist. I went in with pain and came out in pain but only for a few days.HAHA..what do I expect after all the hard work she put in to fix my stubborn tooth, well the nerve was stubborn I guess because it gave us a run for my money, she had to numb me numerous times(didn't flinch) during the procedure, I think they felt sorry for me due to all the numbing but I felt sorry for her that she had to keep stopping, they wanted me to be comfortable and that I was during the whole procedure...What a HOT tooth I had(her office knows) I never thought I would say this but, I had a ball at the dentist today!!!! Thanks Dr. Laurie Southard and Staff. Pineapples you are!!!
